An article on March 2 2026 ('Green deputy leader joins pro-Tehran demonstration') said that Mothin Ali had attended a protest in support of the Iranian regime. Mr Ali has contacted us to explain that he attended the protest, which was organised by the Stop the War Coalition, to condemn the attacks on Iran; and that he does not support the Iranian regime. We are happy to make this clear and apologise for the error.
