Glamorous socialite Amy Tossoun accused of drug-spiking t...

A glamorous Melbourne socialite, recently touted as a potential star for the reboot of a Real Housewives reality TV series, faces potential jail time after she was charged with drug-spiking the drink of the daughter of a prominent property developer.

Amy Tossoun, 33, was charged over the alleged amphetamine spiking last July at a party in Mount Buller, a ski resort village in Victoria's east that is popular among society circles.

Tossoun, co-founder of The Richmond Dentist with ex-husband Dr Fady Tossoun, is alleged to have spiked the drink of Melissa Jreissati, daughter of Dr Elias Jreissati, who is chairman of leading property development company, the Jreissati Group.

It's alleged the mother-of-three spiked Ms Jreissati's drink while attending the birthday party of a mutual friend.

'Police have charged a woman following an incident at a licensed premises in Mount Buller on July 26 , 2025,' a Victoria Police spokesperson told Daily Mail.

'A 33-year-old Brighton woman was charged on summons with possess amphetamine and introduce a drug of dependence into the body of a person.'

Tossoun is due to face Mansfield Magistrates' Court on June 10.

Both offences carry punishments including fines of about $6,000 or up to one year behind bars.

Amy Tossoun is facing two charges of drug possession and drug spiking and will face court

Police allegedly found Tossoun in possession of amphetamines two days after the alleged incident, the Herald Sun reported.

A spokesperson for Tossoun issued a statement addressing the charges on Saturday night.

'Ms Tossoun is taking this matter extremely seriously and has retained lawyers to represent her interests,' they told the publication.

'Now that the matter is before the court, she will not be making any further comment.'

It is not yet known what relationship exists between Ms Jreissati and Tossoun.

The marketing director of family-owned winery Levantine Hill Estate, Ms Jreissati is often seen at society events, but largely keeps a quiet social media presence.

She has since disabled her social media platforms.

Tossoun also recently deactivated her accounts, however she still has a profile on The Richmond Dentist website, where she worked as the practice manager.

Tossoun (pictured on Melbourne Cup Day  in November) has been shortlisted to appear on the new Real Housewives of Melbourne series

'She oversees all operations of the clinic, and mostly works behind the scenes to ensure patients have a smooth experience,' her bio reads.

'Amy's three young children keep her quite busy, and on occasion will make surprise appearances at The Richmond Dentist.'

The Herald Sun reported in February that Tossoun had been shortlisted to appear on the reboot of the Real Housewives of Melbourne series, which first launched in Australia in 2014.

It wouldn't be the first time Tossoun has made it on the silver screen.

She previously appeared on the 2023 season of The Block alongside her ex-husband, when they purchased the Hampton East property for a 'bargain' price of $3.035million.

They attended the filmed auction day and then travelled by helicopter to celebrate at the races.

Tossoun has also attended star-studded events like the invitation-only Glamour on the Grid party at the Australian Grand Prix, and the Melbourne Cup Carnival, and has also featured in magazines like Vogue Australia.

Her estranged brother, Tony Farag, was charged in March with stealing event passes for the recent Australian Grand Prix.

He is due to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in September.

Daily Mail has contacted Ms Jreissati and The Richmond Dentist for comment.
