Rosie Kelly has hit out at cruel trolls who tried to fat shame her after last weekend’s BAFTA awards in London.
The daughter of Scots daytime television queen Lorraine Kelly was told she looked ‘big’ or was pregnant amid claims she was ‘hiding something’.
But the mother-of-one, 31, who had posted images of herself with her mother at the glamorous event on social media said she had to remove them after the hateful comments.
Sharing a video, she said the critique had been ‘unacceptable’ and added: ‘It’s not about picking sides or being petty and arguing – it’s about just calling stuff out that’s just not nice.’

Admitting she had issues with the way she looks, especially after giving birth, she continued: ‘Yeah, I have gone up a size, and it’s not really that easy to get off.
‘So there’s two different things to it – there’s the whole body image thing, but then there’s the whole thinking I’m pregnant, and I’m not.
‘I just think that’s really crap. And it’s 2026, so why are we still thinking it’s acceptable to comment on people’s bodies and comment on how people look? I just don’t get it.’
Her mother, 66, replied saying: ‘Well said – you are so beautiful and I’m so proud of you.’
