An Indianapolis Christian School kindergarten teacher admitted to a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student.
Torrie Lemon, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of felony child seduction on Thursday after her relationship with a female Colonial Christian School student was exposed last year.
Lemon was sentenced to serve only 40 days in jail of a four-year sentence followed by a 1,420-day probation.
According to police documents reviewed by Fox Digital, Lemon's inappropriate relationship began in January 2025.
Officials alleged that she had sex with the student and 'engaged in misconduct' on Colonial Christian School grounds, at her own apartment and in the victim's home.
The victim told police that she began a friendship with the teacher but Lemon quickly began discussing her attraction to women and making sexual jokes, reported Fox 59.
'Victim advised she never intended their relationship to be sexual, and they wanted it to just be a friendship because they knew it was wrong,' the arrest affidavit read.
Lemon first kissed the victim during a school trip to Wabash, Indiana, court documents said.

The pair were allowed to have sleepovers at the victim's house, where they allegedly shared a pullout couch, according to the New York Post.
Lemon sent the teen several messages, some of which discussed 'climaxing' and 'laying in bed,' court documents claimed.
'I love you more than I can describe,' read one text. 'I love my girl. Thank you for an amazing night and morning.'
The victim's parents told police they had noticed Lemon spending more and more time with their daughter, but 'didn't know the extent of the relationship,' the affidavit said.
Her mother 'noticed that their friendship seemed to progress fast because Ms. Lemon brought her flowers and was giving victim gifts within a couple weeks,' read the report.
'Victim’s mother advised she didn’t know when the relationship became physical, but she noticed that victim and Ms. Lemon were on the phone all the time,' it continued.
The teen's father told police that he was aware she 'kissed, hugged and cuddled' Lemon but did not want the educator to be fired, court documents said.
The victim allegedly asked her father about the age of consent laws in Indiana.

Colonial Christian School told the Daily Mail that they became aware of Lemon's 'misconduct' on April 10, 2025.
'We took immediate action, placed the teacher on leave, and contacted the Indiana Department of Child Services, and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department,' read the statement. 'The teacher's employment was terminated.'
'Throughout this process, Colonial Christian School fully cooperated with law enforcement and prosecuting authorities.'
According to an arrest affidavit, Lemon's affair was exposed while she was chaperoning a school trip to South Carolina.
Another student found pictures of the pair kissing on the victim's phone and allegedly informed a school employee, court documents said.
Lemon admitted to South Carolina police that she was 'having an inappropriate relationship with a student from our school.'
She was officially charged on June 30, 2025.
