A man's body has been found in the landing gear of a plane which travelled to Gatwick airport from Morocco.
He was found inside the Air Arabia plane - which had flown the three-hour journey from Tangier to London - at around 11.45am on Tuesday.
Gatwick said its teams were supporting police and the coroner with their investigations.
An airport spokesman said: 'A body was found and our teams subsequently supported Sussex Police and the coroner.
'Our thoughts are with everyone affected.'
Sussex Police told the Daily Mail: 'Police were called after the body of a man was found in the undercarriage of an aircraft at Gatwick Airport, arriving from Tangier, at about 11.45am on Tuesday, June 16.
'Officers are investigating and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.'
The Daily Mail contacted Air Arabia for comment.

A similar discovery was made at Gatwick in 2022 when a man's body was found in the wheel well of a plane which had flown from Banjul in The Gambia.
The man, thought to have been in his 20s or 30s, was found frozen and 'wedged' in the Tui aircraft 30 minutes after it landed, an inquest heard in 2024.
He is thought to have died from hypothermia and had no identification when he was found wearing a dark-coloured fleece top, tracksuit type bottoms, no socks and plastic-style sandals.
The 3,600-mile journey between the UK and The Gambia typically takes around six hours by plane, with temperatures outside the aircraft reaching as low as -54C at a cruising altitude of 35,000ft.
