FOUR new suspects named in alleged Melbourne drug syndica...
Paul Shapiro · 2026-06-24 · via News | Mail Online

Melbourne's party scene has been rocked after two suspected syndicates were allegedly caught with a total of $6million worth of illicit substances.

The Daily Mail can reveal that suspects Blake Chan-Gomara, 27, Mikaela McEwan, Mickeal Hagos, 28, and Alysha Mokotua were all scheduled to front Melbourne Magistrates' Court this week, charged with an array of offences.

However, the court administratively adjourned the matter after it received an email indicating the allegedly large quantity of drugs seized could not be fully analysed by the end of this month.

Investigators from one of Victoria Police's most hardened drug takedown crews, the North West Metro Regional Crime Squad, arrested the four at a Williams Landing property on April 2.

That alleged bust came just days after another alleged syndicate was uncovered in Diamond Creek on March 26.

Police allege the two suspected syndicates pushed just over a combined $6million worth of illicit drugs throughout Melbourne.

In the April 2 alleged drug bust, officers hit the Williams Landing address in Melbourne's south-west where they allegedly seized 25kg of meth, 11kg of MDMA, 11kg of ketamine and a small amount of cocaine and cannabis.

The suspected haul had a combined street value of $5million.

Keahn Jeremaia, 25, was charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of meth

Jeremaia was a well-known Melbourne party boy and former suburban football player

Cops also allegedly seized $500,000 in cash, a machete, electronic devices and steroids.

According to a Victoria Police statement released at the time of the April 2 raid, two men, 28 and 27, and a 25-year-old woman, all from Williams Landing, along with a 27-year-old Tarneit woman, were arrested and charged with drug trafficking.

Chan-Gomara, who was charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of meth, and Hagos remain in custody, while McEwan and Mokotua are out on bail.

Chan-Gomara also faces charges of trafficking a large commercial quantity of MDMA, ketamine and cocaine, and dealing with the proceeds of crime.

Investigators also arrested a 28-year-old woman from Minto, in Sydney's outer south-west, but she was released pending further inquiries.

The arrests came after former Diamond Creek footballer and known Melbourne party boy Keahn Jeremaia was arrested at a Diamond Creek property in Melbourne's north-east on March 26 this year.

The two alleged syndicate busts were mentioned side-by-side in a police statement issued in April, but the link between them is unclear.

Jeremaia, 25, fronted Melbourne Magistrates' Court last week charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of meth.

Jeremaia flaunted his party boy lifestyle on social media prior to his arrest

It is alleged that Jeremaia, who ran a concreting business, was found with the haul at a Diamond Creek property in Melbourne's north-east on March 26 this year.

Jeremaia used to flaunt his flashy, jet-setting lifestyle on social media, but now faces the possibility of life in prison if found guilty.

Police allegedly seized from the property 11kg of meth worth an estimated street value of $1.1million, as well as a money counter and multiple sets of scales.

Jeremaia, who was remanded days before his 25th birthday, is alleged to be a cog in the trafficking racket.

A rave regular and known figure on the local party scene, he frequented the city's trendiest bars and nightclubs prior to his arrest.

The tattooed tradesman also enjoyed overseas and interstate surfing trips, as well as fishing trips and exotic beach holidays.

Jeremaia worked as a concreter

Jeremaia was also a prominent suburban footballer, who most recently played for the Diamond Creek Football and Netball Club in the Northern Football League.

The Daily Mail understands Jeremaia appeared on a team list for the 2025 season but was not at the club for the 2026 season.

North West Metro Regional Crime Squad Inspector Geoff Owen alleged in April that the dual syndicate busts were a 'huge effort by our investigators to seize over 35 kilograms of harmful substances, worth an estimated $6million'.

The court heard defence lawyers for Jeremaia said they were waiting on material but indicated that the matter was 'resolvable'.

Jeremaia was remanded in custody to face court next on July 30, while the others will return to court in August.
