'Looksmaxxing' influencer Clavicular is upstaged by hands...
2026-05-17 · via News | Mail Online

Controversial influencer Clavicular was upstaged by a handsome judge at his own sentencing hearing after he was accused of shooting at an alligator in Florida.

The 'looksmaxxing' influencer, whose real name is Braden Peters, accepted a plea deal on Friday in Miami-Dade County for the March 26 incident.

The 20-year-old pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges after filming himself firing a gun at a gator in the Florida Everglades.

Peters has gained traction online for 'looksmaxxing,' which is an internet subculture comprised mostly of young men who want to maximize their physical attractiveness.

But Peters was sorely outshone by Judge Marcus Bach Armas, who sentenced the influencer to 20 hours of community service and six months of probation, according to NBC Miami.

Peters was banned from streaming or monetizing his service hours.

Bach Armas also required Peters to take Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission firearm safety and wildlife protection courses.

People on social media quickly took notice of Bach Armas's incomparable good looks, with one person on X noting the irony that the judge was a 'chad.'

Peters posted a video in which he shot at an alligator in the Florida Everglades

The term 'chad' is internet slang for an extremely good-looking and successful man.

'The judge being a chad is hilarious,' one commenter wrote.

'Face-mogged, frame-mogged, brain-mogged, career-mogged. It's over for clavicle,' another added.

'Mogged' refers to outshining or overshadowing someone's looks, success or accomplishments.

'They 100 percent sent that judge to avoid the mogging defense,' another added.

'Clavicular didn't need jail time... getting mogged by the judge was humiliating enough as punishment,' a commenter added.

Unfortunately for Bach Armas's newfound fans, the 42-year-old eleventh judicial circuit court judge is married with two daughters.

Peters has garnered more than one million followers across platforms for posting TikTok videos and streaming on Kick.

In the controversial video posted last month, Peters was captured pointing a handgun into swampy waters from an airboat at the Francis S. Taylor Everglades Wildlife Management Area, per NBC Miami.

Online, commenters called Bach Armas a 'chad,' stating that he 'mogged' Clavicular

Peters appeared to fire more than a dozen gunshots toward a helpless alligator lying motionless in the water.

'I think that gator is...,' said one of the bystanders in the video obtained by TMZ

'Just got to make sure,' said Peters before firing another round. 'Yeah, I think it's dead.'

According to documents from the Miami-Dade State's Attorney's Office obtained by the Daily Mail, Peters was charged for 'unlawfully and knowingly [discharging] a firearm in a public place' on April 29.

Social media stars Andrew 'Cuban Tarzan' Morales and Yabdiel Anibal Torres Cotto allegedly joined Peters on the water and faced the same charges.

Morales appeared in court with Peters on Friday and was given the same sentence.

Peters' attorney, Jeffrey Neiman, told the Daily Mail that his client 'accepted responsibility for his conduct.'

'Importantly, no individual was injured, and the alligator involved was already deceased prior to the events at issue,' Neiman said in a statement. 'As part of the resolution, Braden will complete a firearms safety course, and adjudication has been withheld.

'He is committed to moving forward responsibly and ensuring nothing like this occurs again. We appreciate the professionalism of the State and the Court in resolving this matter.'

Peters' attorneys alleged that no animals were harmed in the video

Neiman previously told the Daily Mail that Peters had been following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide and 'no animals' had been harmed.

Peters has become a controversial figure online due to accusations that he encourages followers to go to unhealthy extremes to achieve conventional attractiveness.

According to ABC 11, Peters allegedly promoted the use of methamphetamines for weight loss and intentionally breaking bones to improve facial structure.

He was hospitalized in April for a suspected overdose and previously arrested for a misdemeanor assault charge.
