A manner of death has been determined for Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets.

The Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office in Arizona has officially ruled his death as a suicide, according to TMZ

The Lake Havasu Police Department previously said Sheets appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Law enforcement responded to a call regarding a deceased individual at his residence in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 22.

'The male subject has been identified as Darrell Sheets, a 67-year-old resident of Lake Havasu City and Darrell's family has been notified,' a press release obtained by The Daily Mail stated.

Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office.

Sheets had been residing in Arizona following his retirement and also ran an antique store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.

He often posted about the shop on his Instagram page, with his last post being uploaded in December shortly before Christmas.

Sheets had shared pictures of signs that had been delivered to the store and encouraged fans to stop by at the time.

The late star appeared on Storage Wars across 13 seasons and last featured on the series in 2023.

The TV personality had appeared on the A&E reality series beginning in 2010 for 163 episodes.

He had been a guest on other shows, including Rachael Ray and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Sheets was also candid about his health and revealed on Instagram in 2019 that he suffered a 'mild heart attack.'

'Well here we go I wasn't going to say anything, but you all have been the greatest friends and fans,' he wrote alongside a photo of himself resting in a hospital bed.

'I've been very sick for 3 months and two nights ago I had a mild heart attack. Found out I have congestive heart failure and a severe issue going on with my lungs.'

He added, 'Today I am having surgery so all your prayers would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for being there for me, it's been a great ride #storagewars.'

Following the surgery where he received two stents in his heart, Sheets shared a separate post to give an update and encouraged his followers to prioritize their health.

'I was a closet diabetic that would eat whatever I wanted and masked it with diabetic pills, I'm paying the price,' he had written.

'I beg all of my friends, fans, and family to really pay attention to your health, I have survived many things in the last 31-and-a-half years and I will survive this but it is a huge life change and had I watched it and took [sic] care of it, I would not be in this position.'

The late star added, 'God spared me once again and I will definitely pay more attention this time.'
