A three-month-old baby has been found safe after teenagers stole a car while the infant was sitting inside.
The youths stole the vehicle on Sutherland Street at Garbutt, in Townsville, at 1.45pm on Monday.
The group did not know the baby was inside the car.
The baby was located unharmed nearby a short time later.
However, the vehicle has not been found.
Daily Mail contacted Queensland Police for comment.
