Two people have been injured after a suspect went on a shooting spree in Texas.
Chaos erupted in the community of Kings Colony, 25 miles from Houston, on Saturday afternoon.
The area was placed on lockdown after a suspect opened fire at around 4.20pm.
A 17-year-old sustained non-life threatening injuries, along with another person who also sustained minor wounds, KHOU reports.
A 60-year-old man was taken into custody following a standoff with SWAT teams at his home, according to the outlet.
The public is still being urged to avoid the rural area in New Cane, Montgomery County, as an investigation continues.
A motive has not been formally released but detectives are probing reports the shooting broke out amid a neighbor dispute.
'Law enforcement is currently responding to an active shooting in the Nottingham Street area of the Kings Colony neighborhood in East County,' read a statement from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

Around 7.30pm local time, the sheriff released a statement letting the public know that a suspect had been apprehended.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were seen leaving the scene, including the local police and fire departments.
Reporters on the scene described the area as 'rural' with several large properties and residential roads.
Montgomery County has an estimated population of 781,194 people.
