Furious dump truck driver empties trash he removed from c...

An angry California dump truck driver returned the trash he had removed from a customer's backyard in dramatic fashion over claims that they owed him money.

Martin Perez, the owner of Express Rental Dumpster, said the owners of a house on 19th Street in San Pablo, about 20 miles northeast of San Francisco, had rented a dumpster.

The owners were in the process of moving out and needed a container to store their debris.

Perez's company delivered the dumpster, only to find that the homeowners who had agreed to pay them were apparently not going to do so.

'It's declined,' Perez told KTVU. 'They declined the card.'

When Perez's company arrived to pick up the dumpster, they found that it was full and instead re-dumped its contents back onto the driveway, which was captured by Ring cameras.

Perez explained that he had already lost money on delivering and then picking up the dumpster.

If he had taken the debris to a landfill, he would have been on the hook for hundreds of dollars more in dumping fees.

Footage captured via Ring camera showed how the dumpster company effectively dumped all of the trash back onto the homeowner's 19th Street home

Immediately afterwards, a man emerged from the house, yelling and cussing in Spanish while he spoke on the phone

Shortly before dumping the trash back onto the property, one of the two people handling the truck appeared to say in Spanish that the homeowners 'haven't paid' for the service.

Immediately after the debris was dropped, a man - seemingly the homeowner - stormed out of the house, loudly cussing in Spanish and lamenting what just happened while speaking with someone on the phone.

Perez claimed that the homeowners kept making excuses for why they could not pay for the dumpster they ordered.

'They keep saying, like, "Oh, I'm gonna pay later, I'm gonna pay later, I'm gonna pay later," and never did,' he said.

At one point, the homeowners allegedly told Perez, 'I'm gonna put money on the card so you can charge [us].'

But when Perez checked on that on Monday, they suddenly 'forgot.'

Express Rental Dumpster touts itself as offering the 'best dumpster service in the Bay Area,' according to its website. Dumpsters as big as 40 yards are available for rental.

The eye-catching incident was also witnessed by locals, who described their awe at what transpired.

The dumpster company has claimed the homeowners, which were moving out, did not pay for their services and repeatedly made excuses for not fulfilling their end of the deal

Footage of the incident captured two men handling the dumpster truck and speaking in Spanish, seemingly about how the homeowners 'haven't paid' yet

A neighbor, who was only identified as Mary, told the outlet that one of the homeowners claimed ‘she paid $700’ for the dumpster.

‘Then, all of a sudden, I see him back up and dump it all on the ground,’ Mary added. ‘I don't really know what that was about.’

Mary explained that the garbage spillage ‘didn’t block the street’ and was seemingly contained to just the surroundings of that home.

‘It kind of went on the sidewalk and a little bit on,’ she said. ‘Literally on the edge of the sidewalk.’

San Pablo police was called to the neighborhood at one point by a neighbor who was watching the debris be emptied out into the 19th Street driveway.

A police car is visible in the footage that was captured around 8.47pm that night.

Law enforcement made the driver remove the trash from the edge of the sidewalk onto the actual property.

Shortly afterwards, scavengers appeared at the site to spread the debris all over.

The unusual incident is being investigated by the San Pablo Code Enforcement unit, which belongs to the city's police department.

The unit works with absentee landlords and homeowners to reduce 'hazardous conditions.'

That includes handling street sweeping, abandoned cars and buildings, fire hazards and environmental crimes.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Express Rental Dumpster and the San Pablo Code Enforcement unit via the San Pablo Police Department for comment.
