Scots TV star Danni Menzies has revealed she will freeze her eggs one more time before turning forty as she celebrated relocating to the States during New York’s Dressed to Kilt event.
The former A Place In The Sun presenter admitted she was now in the ‘right place’, both mentally and physically, while hosting the glitzy charity fashion show during the city’s Tartan Week.
Danni, now a lifestyle influencer, appeared at the prestigious bash on The New York Academy of Medicine wearing designs by her friend Holly Redmond Harvey alongside football legend John Collins, Scottish boyband Just The Brave and the US Navy Seals.
She first froze her eggs almost two years ago and is planning ‘one more round before I’m 40’.
In 2024 the 37-year-old spoke about her family planning journey in a bid to change the ‘stigma’ around egg freezing. She said she’d successfully preserved 10 eggs for future family plans and the choice gave her more freedom to focus on rebuilding her life at the right pace.
She said: ‘It’s really just about being able to take that pressure off because there is a pressure around doing things. You’ve got a body clock at the end of the day.’
The Highland-born celebrity said she’s not ready for motherhood yet after a period of major upheaval, rebuilding life after a stolen moped knocked her down and left her face badly scarred in 2022.
The accident left Danni permanently scarred and suffering from PTSD which required therapy.

She added: ‘Right now, after everything that I’ve been through with the accident and the comeback from that, moving country, I’m not ready to do that right now and I want to do it at the right time.’
The presenter admitted she felt ‘roadblocks’ while living in London and believes the shift to California has transformed her outlook.
She said: ‘I feel like a different person. I’m so relaxed and happy and motivated.’
She described her new home of Los Angeles as ‘so chill’, but admitted arriving in ‘high energy, fast paced’ New York for Dressed to Kilt brought back the familiar intensity of London, which was ‘slightly anxiety inducing’.
The presenter, who hosts dating podcast ‘Date. Delete. Repeat’ also revealed that her love life has improved dramatically since moving to the US.
She said: ‘I was really struggling with dating in London and just how men approach it. In America they’re much more proactive and want to see you a lot more.’
Danni confessed one of her earliest Hollywood moments saw her enjoy dinner across from heartthrob Brad Pitt on her very first Friday night in the City of Angels.
She said: ‘We made eye contact. I was like, ‘Oh my god, Brad Pitt just looked at me.’ He was with his partner.
‘My friend’s job is celebrity partnerships so she hangs out with, Kim K and whatever, for meetings. She’s used to being around A-listers, whereas when Brad Pitt walked in, I lost it.’
Danni joked that Mr Pitt ‘wasn’t a disappointment’ but wasn’t ‘as tall’ as she thought he’d be.
