Bondi hero Ahmed Al Ahmed's two brothers are accused of trying to claim a slice of his $2.6m GoFundMe windfall, allegedly threatening to 'break your other arm and smash your face' if he didn't hand over $200,000.
Sameh Al Ahmed and Hozaifa Al Ahmed pleaded not guilty in Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday over allegations they threatened the Bondi hero in a phone call on May 7.
The accused were living overseas when Sajid Akram and his son Naveed allegedly opened fire at a Chanukah event at Bondi Beach on December 14, allegedly killing five people and injuring 40.
Ahmed was lauded a hero after he was filmed tackling Sajid to the ground and wrestling the firearm from his hands.
