An American couple have been warned to expect 20,000 Tartan Army foot soldiers - after throwing open the doors of their home to World Cup Scots.
Tawny Campbell was so impressed by the visitors to America that she has invited them to break their journey at their home when travelling to Scotland's final Group C game in Miami.
The descendent of Scots from Fife and Lanarkshire is offering free food and board - even though she has not told her husband, who's currently away.
She has also invited them to return on the Fourth of July to celebrate America's 250 years of independence.
Tawny Campbell and her family, seen here in tartan, have offered to throw open the doors to their home to Scotland fans travelling between Boston and Miami
Tens of thousands of Tartan Army foot soldiers travelled to the city
Mrs Campbell posted on the Tartan Army Gathering Facebook page: "If anyone is making the 23-hour drive from Boston to Miami for the next Scotland match, we live in North Carolina, right at the halfway point, and less than 1 mile off I-15 if folks need a place to take a breather.
"We live in Hope Mills, and are also only two hours from Charlotte, the homebase of the Scottish team.
"We do understand the accent, have visited Scotland a couple of times, own a few real kilts (not Temu or SHEIN), and as you can tell by the name, we do have a wee bit of Scottish DNA.
"Ya'll are welcome to swing on by.
"PS - My husband is camping outside Charlotte with young men from our church until the weekend.
"I should probably tell him about this post soon. Or, I can just let it be a surprise when the doorbell starts ringing. I honestly think he's used to stuff like this for me."
The post was welcomed by Jay Wilson, who wrote: "You might have 20,00 Tartan Army show up. Nice offer, man."
