Tubi Expands Into Video Podcasts While iHeart And Spotify Gear Up For Pride Month

Through a new agreement between SiriusXM and Tubi, a selection of video podcasts from the SiriusXM Podcast Network will soon be available to stream on the free ad-supported platform, giving Tubi users even more ways to watch their favorite shows.

The initial lineup includes Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Rotten Mango, The School of Greatness, What Now? with Trevor Noah, and The Deep 3 Podcast, with additional titles expected to join the platform in the future.

The move expands the reach of SiriusXM’s podcast network to Tubi’s audience of more than 100 million monthly active users and reflects the continued growth of video podcast consumption across connected TVs, mobile devices, and the web.

In a press statement, Tubi said: “With a fandom-focused strategy in mind, Tubi has made a concerted effort for at least the past year to bring more creator content of different flavors (although has emphasized a commitment to long-form) to its platform. And to position it as place for diverse storytellers, social creators and those outside of traditional Hollywood avenues to find new audiences and extend their reach, while giving existing fans another place to watch.”

That strategy can be seen via Tubi’s recent deal with TikTok, among other creator-focused content efforts.

Since Netflix and Spotify inked a deal several months ago inserting video podcasts onto the streamer’s platform, the dealmaking has only accelerated. Since then, IHeart has brought its video podcasts to Hulu, and now Tubi has linked up with SiriusXM.

“For streamers, these deals enable them to add new content cheaply onto their service,” says Dale Crenshaw, a digital media specialist. “The podcast networks gain more visibility for their shows. We have to wonder if there are any more deals to come, say with Paramount Plus, Hallmark, and others.”

iHeart and Spotify celebrate Pride Month

iHeartRadio has a long-standing history of supporting and celebrating Pride Month.

iHeart

For this year’s Pride Month, iHeartMedia and P&G are presenting the Elton John Impact Awards celebrating trailblazing LGBTQ+ community members and prominent allies hosted by Billy Porter and Elvis Duran.

This special podcast series—available now on the iHeart app—first reflects on life and activism with Elton John and his husband David Furnish before honoring Jonathan Bailey, Laverne Cox, Melissa Etheridge, Billie Jean King, Orville Peck and Chappell Roan for their outstanding impact on the LGBTQ+ community. The series also includes a special performance by Dove Cameron and spotlights a range of frontline organizations working to support the LGBTQ+ community.

iHeart also celebrates the community year round through the Outspoken Podcast Network, featuring the best LGBTQ+ talent in podcasting – including Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, StraightioLab and new seasons of the hit original iHeartPodcast’s Outlaws with TS Madison and Tell Me Something Messy with Brandon Kyle Goodman, plus dozens more across the network.

iHeartRadio has a long-standing history of supporting and celebrating Pride Month. Their campaigns feature national broadcasts on iHeart PRIDE Radio, grassroots participation in local marches, and massive fundraising initiatives.

iHeart’s commitment to the LGBTQ+ community is highlighted by several recurring annual efforts:

  • Can’t Cancel Pride: Since 2020, iHeartMedia and Procter & Gamble (P&G) have partnered to produce "Can’t Cancel Pride," a virtual benefit concert that has raised millions of dollars for LGBTQ+ nonprofits like GLAAD, The Trevor Project, and SAGE.
  • The Elton John Impact Awards: Evolving out of their Can’t Cancel Pride benefit, these awards honor trailblazing LGBTQ+ icons and prominent allies (past honorees include Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Billy Porter, and Chappell Roan).
  • Local Event Sponsorships: Local iHeartMedia stations routinely serve as official media partners and participants for massive celebrations, such as the San Francisco Pride Parade and NYC Pride.
  • Dedicated Programming: iHeart’s dedicated PRIDE Radio streams LGBTQ+ focused music year-round, while their iHeart Blog and Podcast Directory continuously highlight queer creators and culture.

Spotify also continues to support Pride Month in 2026 through its GLOW platform.

Spotify also continues to support Pride Month in 2026 through its GLOW platform, a year-round program dedicated to amplifying LGBTQIA+ creators, podcasts, and artists. The Spotify app features curated Pride hubs and a massive slate of official editorial playlists.
