Amor À Vida is a hot new 221-foot-long superyacht from CRN
Maurizio Paradisi
I had a feeling the new 221-foot-long CRN Amor À Vida that debuted at the recent Palm Beach International Boat Show would be special prior to seeing it for myself. But as I learned during a detailed tour with Dan Lenard (of the powerhouse Nuvolari Lenard superyacht design studio that designed the yacht with long-time Nuvolari Lenard designer Valentina Zannier providing the artistic direction on the interiors), it is special in ways I wasn’t expecting as well.
The beach club onboard the 221-foot long CRN Amor À Vida is sooo much bigger than what you'd expect to see on a yacht of this size

According to Dan, the inspiration for the overall design came from the American owner’s passion for luxury cars, technology, and Italian design. And you can see those influences in the taut lines of the exterior and the welcoming spaces of the interior that blur the lines between inside and outside.

But I was also intrigued with to learn how CRN worked with the owner’s project management team that was represented by Moran Yacht & Ship. Now an owner’s choice of representative during a new build may not sound that interesting. But, the fact that Moran Yacht & Ship worked with CRN in Italy during the build is actually quite interesting simply because the Moran Yacht & Ship new build team is known for representing owners of much larger yacht builds (like the 400-foot-long, 2025 Superyacht of the Year, Kismet and others) that demand the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship and complicated project management.

The glass-bottom pool is enormous for a yacht of this size
Maurizio Paradisi
In fact, that’s exactly what I spoke about with Moran Yacht & Ship’s charter manager when I was “testing” the large, glass-bottom, glass-sided pool on the aft deck during the show. The water was cool and refreshing. I even humbly provided some “hard data” to a prospective client who asked me to stand up so he could get an accurate understanding of how deep the pool was (the water came up to my chest) in addition to my highly technical description of just how refreshing the pool was as well!

That’s actually a perfect segue to the rest of the Dan’s tour because the large aft-deck area is organized around the pool that’s also equipped with an advanced heat recovery system to ensure the ideal temperature, a transparent bottom that lights up the underlying beach club, colorful mosaic tiles, and hydromassage jets.
The beach club is amazing
Giorgio Baroni
The beach club is epic and features an innovative stern door that retracts beneath the swim platform to deliver aesthetics and functionality that are usually only found on much larger yachts. Of course, the lounge, gym, and spa are made even more inviting thanks to two large fold-down walls that open up the whole area to the sea. And the specially designed gym has fitness equipment can be used on the open terrace that will provide a totally Instagram-worthy water-level work-out.

The owner’s deck has floor-to-ceiling windows, 180-degree views, a large private outdoor lounge, a skylight above the large bed, and a private study. The lower deck has four VIP cabins with en-suite bathrooms.

A large, sliding glass panel leads to the large, light-filled main lounge that features polished sycamore and pale nubuck inserts, hand-stitched leather, and a rare Java teak floor. Ample outdoor spaces and an elegant sky lounge provide plenty of interesting areas to escape to as well.

And when it comes to playing in the water, the full complement of tenders and toys that are housed in the full-beam garage in the bow include: a custom limo tender, a ski/wake board boat, jet skis, water bikes, wakeboards, kayaks, a Jobe Binar Towable SUP, Seabobs, diving gear and a large, 43CC Mag Bay chase boat powered by three Mercury 600 outboard engines.
Testing the pool onboard the 221-foot-long Amor À Vida at the Palm Beach International Boat Show is tough. But somebody's got to do it.
Bill Springer
But I can only really report from first-hand knowledge that aft-deck pool area is pretty special. And I bet anyone who charters Amor À Vida in the Med this summer or the Caribbean next winter might agree.
