Cabot Revelstoke – the Cabot brand’s first destination property combining golf and skiing – is debuting its first course for preview play this fall in British Columbia. And a new short course is in the works.
Set amid Canada’s Monasheee and Selkirk Mountain ranges, in an alpine region known as the “heli-skiing capital of the world,” Cabot’s second Canadian property is set for its reveal almost six years after plans were first unveiled.
The golf centerpiece of the property is an 18-hole course designed by golf architect and Alberta native Rod Whitman (of Whitman, Axland & Cutten) that is perched high above the Columbia River valley. The resort community itself, located at the base of Revelstoke Mountain, combines golf and skiing with refined accommodations, including a new 155-room mountain lodge set to open in early 2027 and a collection of alpine-inspired residences.
“We are thrilled to begin 2026 with strong momentum at Cabot Revelstoke, which is poised to become a basecamp for year-round mountain adventure and connection in one of the world’s most breathtaking settings,” said Cabot CEO and co-founder Ben Cowan-Dewar.
The first course, designed by Rod Whitman, was originally announced in 2020.

The first photos of the course reveal the generous nature of the fairways within a routing that takes full advantage of the sweeping vistas overlooking the river and surrounding peaks. Many of the holes are set along dramatic cliffs, meandering creeks, and other natural landforms.
Cabot has also revealed a new par 3 course – The Railyard – that’s named in honor of Revelstoke’s rich railway heritage and will begin construction later this year. An opening date hasn’t been scheduled.
Cabot Revelstoke offers sweeping vistas overlooking the Columbia River valley and the peaks of the surrounding Monasheee and Selkirk mountain ranges.

The newest golf offering within the Cabot portfolio will join the three courses at Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, four at Cabot Citrus Farms in Florida, two at Cabot Highlands in Scotland, two at Cabot Bordeaux in France, and one at Cabot St. Lucia in the Caribbean.
Cabot’s newest property is located in a region that has North America’s biggest vertical drop, at 5,620 feet. It will be anchored by a clubhouse with dining and a variety of activities, including bowling, virtual golf, shuffleboard, and more. Clubhouse construction is set to begin this year as well.
The initial real estate component at Cabot Revelstoke is almost sold out, with Chalet 1 featuring a collection of nine 4- and 5-bedroom luxury residences inspired by classic European ski chalets in the Dolomites and the Alps. Designed by architecture firm Hart Howerton, the single-level residences start at about $5.6 million ($7.6 million Canadian).
Cabot Revelstoke is positioned to be a "basecamp" for year-round mountain adventures — from golf and mountain biking to heli-skiing.

Located about two hours north of Kelowna International Airport in Central British Columbia, Revelstoke is a year-round outdoor playground that offers not only golf and skiing, but hiking, fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding and dogsledding.
The mountain lodge that will be the central hub of the resort will feature a modern steakhouse and bar, spa and wellness activities, a fully equipped fitness center, curated retail, and an event venue for weddings, corporate events and other celebrations that can accommodate 400 guests. The lodge will also have convenient check-in for golf as well as heli-skiing in a region that gets an average of 34 feet of annual snowfall.
The region gets an annual snowfall total of 34 feet.

“The scale and beauty of the legendary destination make this one of the most captivating projects we have ever undertaken,” said Cowan-Dewar, “and an ideal location for Cabot’s first mountain golf and ski experience.”
