When exploring the halls at the Rho Fiera fairgrounds during Salone del Mobile and the creative installations at Brera and beyond, surely the thought of taking one of the well-designed pieces home crosses one’s mind. This is especially the case when it comes to limited-edition designer collaborations, which has become an even more significant part of Milan Design Week.
Much like previous editions, Milan Design Week 2026 has an extensive list of designer collaborations, with brands tapping established studios and fresher names alike. The difference? The direction is becoming more lifestyle-led than ever, so expect to see more than the usual chairs and sofas.
Here are some of the most exciting partnerships to peruse in Milan, and to pursue when they finally hit the stores.
Veuve Clicquot is collaborating with Yinka Ilori on an installation and collection called Chasing the Sun

It’s hard to think of anything more joyful than clinking champagne glasses, so it was only a matter of time until champagne houses decided to capitalize on the happiness they bring and translate that to more than their bottles of liquid sunshine.
Leading the charge is Veuve Clicquot, which is collaborating with British-Nigerian designer Yinka Ilori on an immersive installation focused on light and joy called Chasing the Sun. Partnering with the self-proclaimed “architect of joy” is fitting for a brand that is all about celebration, resulting in a true meeting of minds.
Apart from the undoubtedly colorful installation, Veuve Clicquot and Yinka Ilori are also releasing an exclusive collection of gifting objects tailored to the maison’s Yellow Label and Rosé cuvées. The accessories feature vibrant patterns and color combinations imagined by Ilori, so everyone can take that joyous moment home with them.
Veuve Clicquot Chasing the Sun by Yinka Ilori runs from 21-26 April 2026 at Mediateca Santa Teresa, Via della Moscova 28, Milan. The collection will be unveiled globally and stocked at Selfridges from May 2026.

Go big or go home — that’s the mantra of H&M Home which is joining Milan Design Week for the first time this year with a landmark partnership with Kelly Wearstler. They’ve enlisted the acclaimed American designer to create their first-ever furniture collection, which is rooted in “daily ritual and modular thinking”.
Everyone’s looking for flexible, adaptable pieces for the home and that’s the premise of the Swedish retailer’s debut collection featuring armchairs that connect to create sofas and coffee tables that join to form coffee tables, all imbued with Wearstler’s signature high-octane glamour. Spanning large furniture pieces and design objects, the showcase will be presented at Palazzo Acerbi — a 17th-century Baroque palace whose opulent interiors will offer a striking contrast to the collection's cool, contemporary spirit.
H&M Home and Kelly Wearstler collection will be showcased at Palazzo Acerbi, Corso di Porta Romana, 3, Milan. The collection will be released online and in stores in September 2026.

If you wake up in a luxury hotel and swear you’ve had the best sleep, you can be sure that you spent the night on Frette sheets. The Italian textile company is known for having the most sumptuous bed and bath linens, supplying five-star properties such as The Ritz-Carlton and Peninsula Hotels.
At Milan Design Week, Frette brings a different proposition to the table (quite literally): a collection in partnership with acclaimed designer Tara Bernerd, who is behind stunning hotels like Rosewood Munich and the upcoming Six Senses Milan. Named Turning Tables, this collaboration developed with Bernerd builds on her amazing use of pattern and color while highlighting Frette’s impeccable craftsmanship. The collection is focused on table linens, but also includes trays, coasters and other objets to make tablescape and dining spaces as beautiful as ever.
Turning Tables will be showcased at Frette’s historic flagship store at Via Manzoni 11, 20121 Milan from 21-26 April 2026. The collection will be released online and in boutiques on April 21, 2026.

It’s been four years since award-winning crystal brand Baccarat has participated in Milan Design Week, so it’s understandable that they’re going all out with a monumental exhibition called Crystal Crypt featuring scenography by Emmanuelle Luciani.
In terms of releases, a highlight is the collaboration with London-based designer Bethan Laura Wood — best known for her expressive, color-rich approach that livens up every nook and cranny. They’re launching the whimsical Mille Fleurs collection, which includes a modular chandelier and wall light as well as striking candelabras. Full of vibrance and movement, it’s a statement-making return after a four-year hiatus featuring show-stopping designs sure to be conversation starters at home.

Dozie Kanu Table for Knoll

A cornerstone of modern design, Knoll is always thinking about how we will live, work and play in the future. This is why the brand opts to work with interesting creatives across disciplines (read: not limiting themselves to product designers), a direction that Creative Director Jonahan Olivares is keen to continue.
And dare we say Knoll is on a roll. For Milan Design Week 2026, they’re launching their first-ever collaboration with US-born, Portugal-based sculptural artist Dozie Kanu. The Dozie Kanu Table collection features three designs — a console, coffee table and side table — all united by the addition of the leather tassels. According to Kanu, his inspirations include the African drum and fringed jackets in Texas Cowboy culture, both reflecting his personal experience and background. Design as a personal statement, now that’s both timely and timeless.
