Cupra has unveiled the all-new Cupra Raval, a fully electric city car designed to strengthen its presence in the rapidly growing UK EV market. As the latest addition to the brand’s expanding electric vehicle line-up, the Cupra Raval aims to combine bold design, strong performance and everyday usability in a compact urban package.
The new Cupra Raval is scheduled to arrive in the UK in summer 2026, with prices starting from £23,785. Built on the Volkswagen Group’s advanced MEB+ platform, the model will be offered in four trim levels—Origin, V1, V2 and VZ—giving buyers a range of battery and performance options to suit different driving needs.
At entry level, the Origin variant features a 37kWh battery paired with a 115PS electric motor, positioning it as an accessible option for drivers entering the electric car market. The V1 and V2 trims introduce greater flexibility, offering a choice between a 37kWh battery producing 135PS or a larger 52kWh unit delivering 210PS. Models equipped with the larger battery are expected to achieve a driving range of up to 280 miles, alongside rapid charging capability that allows a 10 to 80 per cent charge in approximately 23 minutes.

At the top of the range, the Cupra Raval VZ is designed to deliver a more performance-focused driving experience. Available exclusively with the 52kWh battery, it produces 225PS and offers a range of around 250 miles. The VZ also features advanced chassis technology, including an electronic limited-slip differential and Dynamic Chassis Control, aimed at enhancing handling and responsiveness.
Inside, the Cupra Raval places a strong emphasis on driver-focused technology. A newly integrated digital cockpit includes a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch infotainment system, designed to centralise key vehicle controls and connectivity features. The interior is further enhanced by a redesigned steering wheel with physical controls and satellite buttons for selecting driving modes and adjusting regenerative braking, reinforcing the car’s focus on engagement behind the wheel.
Marcus Gossen, Managing Director of SEAT and Cupra U.K., said the launch represents a significant milestone for the brand. “The Cupra Raval is the culmination of an immense amount of hard work, dedication and effort across the business,” he said. “It represents everything Cupra stands for—advanced, forward-thinking and dynamic. With its striking design, electrifying performance and unconventional features, it reimagines what an urban electric vehicle can be for a new generation of drivers.”
