Last week, BTS completely dominated Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart. The South Korean septet’s album Arirang sent 13 tunes to the list of the bestselling tracks in the U.S. on platforms like iTunes, Amazon, and others. The group, which returned after a years-long hiatus, occupied 90% of the top 10. Only Ella Langley’s “Choosin' Texas” managed to keep the K-pop superstars from a clean sweep.
“Swim” easily launched at No. 1, and one frame later, “Swim” continues to lead the Digital Song Sales chart… but many of BTS’s other recent wins disappear. That makes room for plenty of popular cuts by other artists to return, and this time around, two come from Taylor Swift.
Swift fills a pair of rungs on the current edition of the Digital Song Sales chart, and both of her bestsellers mount comebacks. “The Fate of Ophelia,” the lead single taken from her most recent album, The Life of a Showgirl, reenters highest, coming in at No. 17. “Opalite,” the second official promotional cut, isn’t far behind, as it breaks back in at No. 19.
Only a few dozen purchases separate “The Fate of Ophelia” from “Opalite.” Luminate reports that the higher-rising of the two sold a little less than 1,600 copies on digital download storefronts, while “Opalite” didn’t quite make it to 1,550. Separating the two Swift smashes is “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls, which reenters the roster at No. 18 with almost exactly 1,550 sales.
Both “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite” have already taken turns ruling the Digital Song Sales chart. They are counted among her history-making 31 champions, the most of all time. So far, no other musical act has managed even 20 leaders.
Here are all of Taylor Swift’s No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart.
Nearly half of all of the spaces on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart are occupied by returning favorites. 11 tunes in all find their way back to the roster. Just one of them, “Where Is My Husband!” by British superstar Raye, breaks back into the top 10, as it establishes a new high of No. 6.
Landing just ahead of Swift are Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” and Alex Warren’s “Fever Dream.” The first of those two hits a new peak as it storms in at No. 13. Warren’s “Fever Dream,” his latest single, opened at No. 3 more than a month ago.
Coming in behind Swift’s two surging sales wins are singles by Bruno Mars, Owen James, Luke Combs, Ella Langley, and Riley Green, which all find their way back to the roster.
Notably absent from the Digital Song Sales tally this time around is “Elizabeth Taylor,” Swift’s current focus. That track may not land on the purchase-only rundown at the moment, but it has already spent one frame at No. 15 back in November when The Life of a Showgirl was new, and it could return in the coming weeks.
“Elizabeth Taylor” is being promoted to radio, and this frame, it surges to never-before-seen highs on the Adult Contemporary (No. 17), Pop Airplay (No. 18), and Radio Songs charts (No. 28). At the same time, it holds at its top placement, No. 12, on the Adult Pop Airplay list, the third of three pop radio rosters published by Billboard each week.

“Elizabeth Taylor” also rockets 30 spaces north on the Billboard Hot 100, finding its way back to the top 40 as multiple BTS cuts fall.
