Lady Gaga's most recent album Mayhem, her sixth full-length on her own, is only a little more than a year old. The full-length dropped in early March 2025, and it produced an array of singles, from "Die With a Smile," her collaboration with Bruno Mars, to the dark dance-pop of "Disease" and "Abracadabra."
After concluding the Mayhem Ball and with no new promotional cuts appearing, it seemed for a while like Gaga's Mayhem era was over, but she had at least one last move to play. Earlier this month, the singer and actress delivered Apple Music Live: Mayhem Requiem, a live album and concert film attached to this chapter of her career. The project was recorded in January of this year during a special show at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, and the collaboration with Apple Music was only available to view in a few movie theaters. Fans of Mother Monster nearly turn the set into another No. 1 for the singer in the United Kingdom this week, but one mega-release stops her from scoring a leader.
Gaga almost conquers the Official Album Downloads chart this week, but instead Mayhem Requiem arrives in second place. The project comes in beneath Drake's Iceman, one of three new albums by the hip-hop superstar. He scores his fourth leader while she peaks at No. 2 for the first time in her career on the ranking of the top-selling albums on download storefronts in the U.K., such as iTunes.
Gaga reaches the Official Album Downloads chart for the fourteenth time, and Mayhem Requiem marks her milestone tenth placement between Nos. 1 and 10. She's never seen a title stall at No. 2, though not each and every one of her top 10s has ruled. Harlequin topped out at No. 3, while Love for Sale, one of a pair of collaborative projects with Tony Bennett, peaked at No. 4.

Mayhem Requiem launches on two tallies in the U.K. this frame, and its performance varies quite a bit between them. As Mayhem Requiem almost leads the charge on the Official Album Downloads chart, it settles in at No. 50 – in the exact middle – of the Official Albums Sales list. That roster is busier because purchases on CD, cassette, vinyl and via download storefronts are all included.
The Grammy and Oscar winner scores her ninth career hit on the general sales chart, and Mayhem Requiem brings her to a new all-time low. Before this week, Dawn of Chromatica, a remix project from her Chromatica era, only ever climbed to No. 32. That's just one space below where Born This Way topped out in 2021, years after its initial release.
Mayhem Requiem is one of two full-lengths by Gaga that appear on the U.K. charts this week. Both of them land on a pair of tallies, but she does not double up on either of them.
The Fame, her debut set, climbs back into the upper half of the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most-consumed releases in the nation. As it nears 400 weeks as one of the most impressive performers in the U.K. The Fame surges from No. 53 to No. 48. At the same time, it is steady at No. 49 on the Official Albums Streaming list.
