Three songs have already been released from Madonna's upcoming album Confessions II, which is not slated to drop until July 3. The pop superstar initially hyped the set with opening cut "I Feel So Free," which became a fast bestseller, though it did not hang on for very long.
Only a few weeks later, Madonna returned with Sabrina Carpenter, and the two produced the dance floor filler "Bring Your Love." The pair are still promoting that track, as its official music video arrived in mid-June, more than a month after the single launched.
Just days before that visual reached YouTube, "Love Sensation" became the third cut from Confessions II to reach streaming platforms and download storefronts. Now, it is another top 10 smash for Madonna on multiple charts in the United Kingdom.
"Love Sensation" arrives on a pair of rosters in the U.K., and it is not only a top 10 win right out of the gate, but a top five success. Madonna's latest opens at No. 4 on the Official Singles Downloads chart, and it comes in just one space lower on the Official Singles Sales tally. While "Love Sensation" is clearly a strong seller, it is notable that, at least at this early stage, the cut completely misses both the rundown of the most streamed songs in the U.K. as well as the Official Singles chart, which details the most-consumed hits in that country.
Madonna is far more successful on the Official Singles Downloads chart when compared to the Official Singles Sales roster. The downloads list is more specific and thus, at least slightly less competitive than the ranking that also takes into account purchases of individual songs on CD, cassette and vinyl.
"Love Sensation" marks Madonna's tenth top 10 hit, a milestone she reaches decades into her career. She's been on a winning streak throughout 2026, as "I Feel So Free," "Bring Your Love" and now "Love Sensation" have all risen into the top five. The first of that trio missed out on earning Madonna another champion by just one space.

Madonna has only racked up half as many top 10 smashes when looking at the Official Singles Sales chart. "Love Sensation" is her fifth track to break into the top 10, and her second from Confessions II. "I Feel So Free" only lifted to No. 14, while "Bring Your Love" peaked in fourth place.

On both U.K.-based rankings where "Love Sensation" debuts, Madonna scores the second-loftiest new entry of the week. Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You," which she wrote and recorded for Toy Story 5, dominates the pair of charts, earning the singer-songwriter yet another leader.
At the moment, "Love Sensation" is Madonna's only hit song in the U.K. Neither "I Feel So Free" nor "Bring Your Love" are present any longer, though those two singles did score lofty debuts on a number of tallies.
Madonna does claim two charting albums at the moment. Finally Enough Love drops on both the Official Albums Streaming and Official Albums charts, slipping to Nos. 57 and 70, respectively. The original Confessions – actually titled Confessions on a Dance Floor – reenters the Official Dance Albums rundown at No. 26, perhaps spurred back onto the genre-specific list thanks to yet another Confessions II single arriving.
