Your Favorite Toy, the latest album by Foo Fighters, debuts on half a dozen charts in the United Kingdom this week, and as was expected, it’s an immediate massive hit on all of them. The set leads several rosters, while simultaneously missing out on the top spot by just one space on a few others. But in every instance, Your Favorite Toy is a bestseller.
Foo Fighters score a twelfth champion on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart as Your Favorite Toy leads the way. The ranking focuses on the best-selling full-lengths and EPs that can be classified as rock, hard rock, or metal. Your Favorite Toy becomes the band’s twentieth project to make it to the tally, and all but one of those releases have spent time inside the top 10.

Your Favorite Toy also manages to dominate just one other list in the U.K., the Official Album Downloads chart. On that rundown, which is centered entirely around purchases on platforms such as iTunes and specifically in the U.K., Your Favorite Toy marks the Grammy-winning act’s eighth leader. 15 releases by the Dave Grohl-led troupe have become bestsellers on download sites, and only one top 10 title never made it to the summit.

The latest album by Foo Fighters comes in at No. 2 on twice as many charts as it rules in the U.K. The full-length launches in second place on the Official Albums, Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Vinyl Albums rosters.
The band is beaten on all of those tallies by The Great Divide, the latest set by Noah Kahan. The singer-songwriter earns his first No. 1 on the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts and his second leader on both the Official Albums and Official Vinyl Albums rundowns.
As Your Favorite Toy debuts inside the top two on every tally it reaches, one hugely successful compilation by Foo Fighters returns. The Essential rocks back onto the Official Albums Streaming chart at No. 96. It also helps the group double up on the Official Albums list, which details the most-consumed projects in the nation, as it settles in third-to-last place at No. 98.
The Essential has spent more than 100 weeks on both of those rankings, though it’s only reached the top 10 – and only by peaking at No. 10 – on the Official Albums chart.
