Taylor Swift's new single "I Knew It, I Knew You," which she wrote and recorded for the movie Toy Story 5, debuts at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts this week. The track earns the superstar her milestone and historic fifteenth leader on the Billboard Hot 100, where it launches in first place thanks to healthy opening sales and streaming figures, as well as immediate radio adoption.
"I Knew It, I Knew You" is, unsurprisingly, the bestselling tune in the United States at the moment. As it opens atop the Digital Song Sales chart, Swift continues to distance herself from every other act in the ranking's history – but she does not quite claim the grandest launch of the year.
"I Knew It, I Knew You" arrives at No. 1 on this week's Digital Song Sales chart, Billboard's ranking of the top-selling tracks in America specifically on download storefronts such as iTunes, Amazon and others. Billboard reports that "I Knew It, I Knew You" sold 70,000 downloads in its first seven days of availability. The track sold a total of 87,000 copies, as 17,000 fans decided to purchase the composition on CD. Those units are not counted toward Swift's success specifically on the Digital Song Sales chart, though they do help the single launch at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"I Knew It, I Knew You" earns Swift her thirty-second No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. For years now, she has stood apart from every other musical act and claimed the most leaders, and it is not a close race. Nicki Minaj sits in second place with 17 winners, a little more than half of Swift's count.

When the South Korean boy band returned earlier this year after a hiatus, fans turned the lead single from the act's comeback album Arirang into a massive seller. In its opening week, "Swim" arrived at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 94,500 copies purchases. In its second frame, "Swim" sold another 67,000 copies. That's just slightly less than what "I Knew It, I Knew You" accomplished in its first tracking period.
Just last week, Ariana Grande scored the second-largest debut on the Digital Song Sales ranking with "Hate That I Made You Love Me," which introduces her upcoming eighth album Petal. That track sold 55,000 copies once it became available, but now it has been pushed to third place on this 2026-specific list.
