2026 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival - Weekend 2 - Day 2

Justin Bieber reaches Billboard's Adult R&B Airplay chart for the first time on his own as "Everything Hallelujah" debuts on the ranking. For several years now – perhaps even a decade or more – Justin Bieber has been looking to shed his teen idol image. He got his start as a young heartthrob nearly 20 years ago, but since then, he has earned critical acclaim and won several Grammys. The Canadian multigenre superstar's earliest recordings, such as "One Less Lonely Girl," "Baby" with Ludacris and several others, will perhaps always – at least partially – define who he is as a musician, but now the 32-year-old married father is playing to more mature audiences.

Bieber's music appeals to older crowds as well as those that have followed him since the beginning – fans that have grown up with him. The singer-songwriter's latest hit debuts on a tally that would likely have seemed completely out of reach when he first soared to superstardom.

Justin Bieber Debuts "Everything Hallelujah" on a Radio Chart

Bieber's "Everything Hallelujah" debuts on this week's Adult R&B Airplay chart. The track launches at No. 26 on the list, which is built to show which tracks rack up the largest total number of audience impressions at radio stations that play R&B music that caters to more mature listeners.

Justin Bieber Doubles His Adult R&B Airplay Hits

As "Everything Hallelujah" arrives on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, Bieber doubles his total career wins on the ranking. In 2021, he hopped on board a remix of "Essence" by Wizkid and Tems. For a short time, he earned credit on the Adult R&B Airplay tally with the tune, which soared all the way to No. 1, spending 14 weeks ruling that roster. "Everything Hallelujah" is Bieber's first solo song to make it to the radio rundown.

Justin Bieber Scores the Highest Debut This Week

Only two tracks debut on the Adult R&B Airplay chart this week, which is led by Victoria Monét's "Let Me." Bieber collects the loftier of the pair of launches, while Johnny Gill's "A Dance, A Kiss" opens in last place, at No. 30.

"Everything Hallelujah" Is a Surprise Hit

"Everything Hallelujah" has proved to be something of a surprise hit for Bieber. The song is featured on his album Swag II, which served as a sequel to his surprise 2025 full-length Swag. The first of the full-lengths dropped in July and produced smashes like "Daisies," "Yukon" and "First Place." Swag II was unleashed in September, but it did not reach the same heights as its predecessor.

Justin Bieber Nearly Ruled a Christian Ranking

"Everything Hallelujah" has helped Bieber score an important smash on tallies that he does not typically reach. Only last month, "Everything Hallelujah" launched on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart, which lists the most-consumed tracks blending sales, streams and airplay that have some religious aspect to them. Bieber earned his first top 10 on the tally as "Everything Hallelujah" became his seventh career placement on the roster. He almost conquered the list, but "Everything Hallelujah" only pushed to No. 2 a week after debuting, and it stalled in that space.

"Speed Demon" Keeps Growing As Well

Two singles from Swag II climb to new peaks this week. As "Everything Hallelujah" enters the Adult R&B Airplay chart at what is, of course, its loftiest position so far, "Speed Demon" ascends to never-before-seen highs on another two airplay rosters. "Speed Demon," which was promoted as a single back in September, climbs to No. 6 on the Rhythmic Airplay list and ups its position by one rung to No. 39 on the all-genre Radio Songs rundown. The tune is comfortable at No. 21, its best showing yet, on the Pop Airplay chart, and it descends to last place, No. 40, on the Adult Pop Airplay register.

Somewhat surprisingly, despite the success of multiple songs featured on its track list, Swag II is nowhere to be found on any of Billboard's charts, though the first Swag lives on four rosters.
