As one-quarter of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, Jennie has scored hits across a variety of Billboard charts. Thanks to her work with the foursome, she is one of the most popular and commercially successful women in K-pop when it comes to the American lists.

Looking at her solo career, it’s collaborations that have brought Jennie the most fanfare. Her debut album Ruby did send multiple tracks to the Billboard Hot 100, but none of them reached the top 40, and they weren’t major winners when it came to the airwaves. As a soloist, she has been credited on tunes fronted by other acts, and those have become her highest-rising wins on the most competitive songs charts in the U.S.

When it comes to airplay, Jennie is one of only a few K-pop soloists to score multiple smashes on Billboard’s Radio Songs ranking. As “Dracula,” her team-up with Tame Impala, continues to climb, Jennie passes her own bandmate and scores a historic hit.

Jennie And Tame Impala Soar With “Dracula”

Four weeks into its time on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart, “Dracula” – which credits both Jennie and Tame Impala, though it was originally a solo affair for the rock-leaning act – surges from No. 39 to No. 29. That’s a new high point for the cut, and it turns out it’s also a historic placement among soloists typically associated with K-pop.

MORE FOR YOU

Looking at all the tunes that credit any K-pop soloist – either in a lead role or as a featured act – “Dracula” now ranks as the fifth-highest-rising hit of all time. Last week, Jennie sat a few rungs behind where “Priceless” by Maroon 5 and fellow Lisa topped out. In one quick leap, “Dracula” has vaulted over that poppy track’s No. 35 peak.

Blackpink Stars Have Dominated the Radio Songs Chart

Only one piece of K-pop music has ruled the Radio Songs chart, and it’s entirely thanks to women. “Golden,” the big hit from KPop Demon Hunters, credits the fictional girl group Huntr/x as well as vocalists Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Of that trio, only Ejae is most closely associated with K-pop.

Another Blackpink member, Rosé, claims the only other top 10 by a soloist from the K-pop space. “Apt.,” her Grammy-nominated collaboration with Bruno Mars, stalled at No. 4 shortly before “Golden” pushed even higher.

Two tracks by men in the K-pop space — Psy’s “Gangnam Style” (No. 12) and Jung Kook’s “Left and Right,” fronted by Charlie Puth (No. 28) — have also managed slightly more impressive stopping points. “Dracula” currently lands one slot behind where “Left and Right” peaked, and in short order, Jennie may dance past the BTS star and his Grammy-nominated pop collaborator.

Tame Impala Rises to a New Career Best

Every time “Dracula” flaps its wings and flies north, Tame Impala rises higher than ever. The musical project — which is really just one person, Kevin Parker — reaches a new all-time high on the Radio Songs chart thanks to the collaboration.

Jennie has now scored two Radio Songs smashes under her own name. She first appeared on the tally in March 2024 alongside The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, her co-stars in the TV series The Idol, on the single “One of the Girls.” That tune spent three weeks on the roster and climbed as high as No. 48 before stopping.
