2026 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival - Weekend 2 - Day 2

Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj take "Beauty and a Beat" to No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. more than a decade after it was pushed as a single. Following his two headlining spots during the multiple weekends of Coachella, Justin Bieber’s entire catalog of recorded music has exploded in popularity all around the world. He currently fills more than 20 spaces on Billboard’s two global charts as millions revisit the singles and even the beloved album cuts that have made him one of the most successful artists of all time.

While more than a dozen tracks either debut on or rise to new peaks on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., one stands out as easily the biggest. “Beauty and a Beat,” Bieber’s more than decade-old collaboration with Nicki Minaj, surges to the summit on one of those lists, while simultaneously missing out on ruling the other by just one space.

“Beauty and a Beat” Surges to No. 1

Bieber and Minaj jump from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., the tally that ranks the most popular songs around the world based on both sales and streaming data. What makes it different from the Billboard Global 200 is that every country except for America fuels the roster, while the Billboard Global 200 is meant to show what the entire world is listening to.

“Beauty and a Beat” only debuted on the rankings last week, so the fact that it is now the biggest hit in almost every nation is an incredible feat.

Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” and “Stay” Previously Ruled

Bieber collects his third champion on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. as “Beauty and a Beat” dances its way to the top space. He first led the charge in April 2021, when “Peaches,” which also credits Daniel Caesar and Giveon, launched at No. 1. Later that year, Bieber joined Australian hip-hop and pop artist The Kid Laroi on “Stay,” which required only about a month before it was in charge, and which held court at No. 1 for nine weeks.

Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead” Blocks Justin Bieber from No. 1

Bieber and Minaj almost dominate both worldwide tallies, but one slightly more popular single beats them to the throne on the Billboard Global 200. Olivia Rodrigo debuts her latest smash “Drop Dead,” the first taste of her upcoming third album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, at No. 1. The cut marks her fourth ruler, and it follows “Drivers License,” “Good 4 U,” and “Vampire.”

“Beauty and a Beat” Nearly Tops Both Global Charts

Last week, when “Beauty and a Beat” debuted on the Billboard Global 200, it launched at No. 4. As it arrived, the collaboration tied with both “Hold On” and “Monster,” fronted by Shawn Mendes, which similarly stalled at No. 4. The three cuts jointly shared the honor of being Bieber’s sixth-highest-charting win on the tally.

In its second turn on the chart, “Beauty and a Beat” leaps over three No. 3-peaking singles – “Daisies,” “Anyone,” and “Holy” with Chance the Rapper – and becomes Bieber’s only tune to lift as high as No. 2 and stop in that position.

Justin Bieber’s “Baby” Dances Into the Top 10

Currently, Bieber claims three top 10s on both worldwide charts, and he earns a new smash inside that highest tier this frame. “Baby,” the pop icon’s breakout hit, which also includes a verse by hip-hop artist Ludacris, finds its way to the top 10, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and No. 8 on the Billboard Global 200.

“Daisies,” which became a smash last summer when Bieber surprise-released his album Swag, rockets back into the top 10. The track hits No. 5 on the entirely worldwide list and comes in one space lower on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
