Of all the legacy acts that typically appear on the music charts in the United Kingdom, Fleetwood Mac stands out as one of the most successful. The group wins not only because it often climbs to lofty positions, but because typically, more than one album, and sometimes multiple singles, can chart together decades after the group stopped releasing new material. It’s not uncommon for older bands and singers to score one win, typically with a hits-laden compilation, but several efforts at once – and perhaps more importantly, multiple singles at a time – is incredibly impressive.
As Fleetwood Mac uniformly falls across half a dozen albums rosters in the U.K., five different popular songs climb, and one returns to a handful of rosters.
Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs” becomes a quiet bestseller again this week in the U.K. The track, which did not serve as a single, but which still stands out as one of the most popular cuts from the group’s Rumours masterpiece, reenters the Official Singles Downloads tally at No. 97. “Silver Springs” also simultaneously narrowly sneaks back onto the Official Singles Sales chart, the list of the bestselling tunes of any genre and via any format in the U.K., in last place, at No. 100.
“Silver Springs” was released in 1976, but it did not become a bestseller in the U.K. until less than six months ago. The track launched on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts in mid-December of 2025. The Fleetwood Mac fan-favorite has only been missing from the two sales rosters since mid-January, and it has now lived on the tallies for eight weeks.
“Silver Springs” is one of five smashes by Fleetwood Mac that appear on at least one roster in the U.K. Three tracks — “Landslide,” “Dreams,” and “Everywhere” — impressively appear on the Official Singles chart, which ranks the most consumed songs, blending both sales and streaming data. “Landslide” returns to the top 40, but only barely, as it lifts to No. 40. “Dreams” and “Everywhere” are also on the rise, inching to No. 54 and No. 64, respectively, climbing at least 10 rungs each.
The Official Charts Company, the U.K.’s Billboard equivalent, uses a rule that only allows every artist to occupy a trio of spaces on the Official Singles chart at one time as a lead act. There are no such restrictions placed on other rosters. The group claims three smashes on the Official Streaming tally, where “Dreams,” “Everywhere,” and “The Chain” advance from where they sat last time around and settle at Nos. 37, 46 and 57, respectively.
Fleetwood Mac grows with all five of its currently-charting hits, while at the same time, two albums slip. 50 Years – Don’t Stop declines slightly on both the Official Album Streaming and Official Albums rankings, though it manages to hold on inside the top 10. This week, the beloved compilation sits at No. 5 on the streaming-only roster and at No. 8 on the list of the most popular full-lengths and EPs in the nation.
Rumours – which is not just Fleetwood Mac’s blockbuster, but one of the top-performing titles of all time – can be found on three times as many rosters as 50 Years – Don’t Stop, though it does not live inside the top 10 on any of them. Rumours falls on the Official Albums, Official Album Sales, Official Album Downloads, Official Physical Albums, and Official Vinyl Albums rundowns. It only manages to hold steady at No. 21 on the list of the most-streamed collections in the U.K.
