Yet again, Justin Bieber's "Yukon" fails to dominate one chart in the U.K., where it has now reached No. 2 six times. The past several weeks have been huge for Justin Bieber on charts all around the world. After he headlined Coachella, the singer’s sales and streams skyrocketed and he scored many new hits and bestselling albums, often with older efforts. At the same time, multiple titles reached never-before-seen peaks.
Much of Bieber’s output that recently soared up various rankings is on the downswing, as is expected anytime a major star experiences such a momentary boom. A few tunes by Bieber do manage to either return or climb, and one narrowly misses out on becoming a champion yet again, as it’s forced to settle for second place.
On this week’s Official Hip Hop and R&B Singles chart, which details the bestselling tunes in the U.K. that can be classified under those labels, Bieber sits in second place. “Yukon,” one of the biggest smashes taken from his 2025 album Swag, steps up one space to No. 2. Only “Raindance” by Dave and Tems keeps him from another leader.
“Yukon” has spent 32 weeks on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Singles chart, and the highest it has lifted thus far is No. 2. In fact, this frame marks the sixth time that “Yukon” has failed to conquer the roster by a single rung.
Bieber replaces himself at No. 2 on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Singles char, as “Rain Dance” has now kept a pair of tracks by the Grammy winner from leading the way. Last frame, “Baby,” Bieber’s first global hit which also credits rapper Ludacris, rose to No. 2, its all-time high. Two takes of “Baby” have landed on the list, and both peaked in the runner-up rung.
Currently, Bieber occupies three spaces on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Singles chart, which only includes 40 slots. All three of his smashes live inside the uppermost region this time around, as “Yukon” and “Baby” settle at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.
“Confident,” one of several team-ups between the pop superstar and Chance The Rapper, declines slightly to No. 6. Just days ago, “Confident” sat at No. 4, its all-time peak on the genre-specific list.
Bieber enjoys the greatest success on the Official Streaming chart, the U.K.’s look at the most-played tracks on platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and others in the nation. On that ranking, he currently fills seven slots. “Yukon” drops more than 20 spaces, slipping from No. 34 to No. 56.
Even as “Yukon” declines when it comes to streams, the track manages to return to one tally. “Yukon” is back on the Official Singles chart, the 100-space rundown that is centered around the most-consumed songs in the U.K. Both sales and streams matter, and per Official Charts Company rules, each act is only allowed to fill a trio of spots as a lead artist.
“Yukon” reenters at No. 27 after once topping out at No. 12. Bieber’s two other appearances on the Official Singles chart – the most competitive songs roster in the U.K. – appear within the top 10. “Beauty And A Beat” with Nicki Minaj holds at No. 3, a high that was established only a short time ago following his post-Coachella surge. “Daisies,” which preceded “Yukon” as a single from Swag by only a few days, declines one peg to No. 6.
“Beauty And A Beat” rises to a new peak of No. 44 on the Official Singles Sales chart at the moment, and at the same time, both “Daisies” and “Yukon” climb higher than ever in the past, but just one tune by Bieber debuts. “Everything Hallelujah” took longer than many of his past smashes to become a hit in the U.K. following Coachella, and now that religious-themed track arrives on a pair of rosters. “Everything Hallelujah” starts at No. 73 on the Official Singles Downloads chart. At the same time, it enters the Official Singles Sales tally at No. 87.
