Rihanna x Fenty Hair Los Angeles Launch Party - Arrivals

Rihanna's nearly two-decade-old single "Don't Stop the Music" rises to a never-before-seen peak on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., among several hits from the singer. A decade after her last album, Anti, arrived, and years since she delivered any new piece of music, Rihanna is still a force on a number of Billboard charts every week . These days, it’s common for multiple albums by the singer to appear on several tallies, and she typically performs even better when looking at Billboard’s global lists, the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

The first of those two rosters details the 200 most-consumed tracks all around the planet. The latter does essentially the same, only in an effort to show what the world outside of America – the largest music market – is listening to, streams and sales from consumers based in the U.S. do not factor into its methodology.

Rihanna claims multiple worldwide smashes this frame with several of her career-making hits. One returns to a competitive list, while another climbs higher than ever before.

“Don’t Stop The Music” Hits a New All-Time High

Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music” will turn 20 next year, and for the past several months, it has been growing in popularity all around the world. In its tenth turn on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., “Don’t Stop the Music” lifts from No. 188 to No. 161. That marks a new high for the dancefloor filler.

MORE FOR YOU

Where Does “Don’t Stop The Music” Fit in Rihanna’s Catalog?

Last week, “Don’t Stop the Music” counted No. 174 as its all-time high on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Now that that figure has been reestablished as No. 161, the order of the pop icon’s highest-rising wins on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. changes slightly.

“Don’t Stop the Music” previously ranked as the Grammy winner’s second-lowest-peaking tune, landing ahead of only “S&M.” That single peaked at No. 193 earlier in 2026.

“Born Again” spent just one stint at No. 171 back in November 2022. “Don’t Stop the Music” has now outpaced that momentary hit, and if it continues to climb, it may soon also pass “Love the Way You Lie,” one of several collaborations with Eminem. That smash has soared all the way to No. 158, only a few pegs ahead of where “Don’t Stop the Music” lands this time around.

Rihanna’s “S&M” Returns to the Same Ranking

Speaking of “S&M,” that raunchy electro song finds its way back to the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. This time around, “S&M” reappears at No. 193, matching its previously-set peak. The tune, which was once boosted thanks to a remix including Britney Spears, has spent just three frames on the 200-space register.

Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop The Music” Lives On Three Charts

“Don’t Stop the Music” is one of only a pair of Rihanna cuts that currently appear on multiple Billboard charts, and her only single to live on three at the moment. “Don’t Stop the Music” declines slightly from No. 152 to No. 158 on the Billboard Global 200. In the past, it’s danced its way to No. 138.

The same single can also be found on one American roster. “Don’t Stop the Music” is Rihanna’s only song to live on a list in the U.S. The track dips one slot to No. 9 on the Dance Streaming Songs chart.

Rihanna’s Team-Ups with Calvin Harris and Eminem Also Chart

A pair of Rihanna dance wins make space on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. this week. “We Found Love” with Calvin Harris is up to No. 153 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and down more than 20 spaces to No. 185 on the Billboard Global 200.

Her solo track “Kiss It Better” can be found only on the Billboard Global 200, where it declines from No. 129 to No. 168. Two other favorites, “Only Girl (In the World)” and “Love the Way You Lie” with Eminem, gain ground and land at No. 171 and No. 177, respectively, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
