2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony - Portraits

Dua Lipa's self-titled debut album brings the singer to a milestone she's never seen before on the main U.K. albums chart. Less than a month ago, Dua Lipa scored a new hit on the Official Albums chart, which details the most-consumed full-length projects and EPs in the United Kingdom. The tally is built using both sales and streaming data, and it shows what British music lovers are consuming, not solely buying or listening to on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and others.

The pop superstar's Live From Mexico almost earned her another top 10 win on the most important albums ranking, and several weeks later, the set is still performing incredibly well. Lipa's focus for the moment might be on Live From Mexico, but it is her self-titled debut studio effort that reaches a notable milestone this time around on the same roster.

Dua Lipa Reaches 450 Weeks on the Albums Chart

Lipa fills a pair of spaces on the Official Albums chart this time around, and it and her two current winners bookend her career. As Live From Mexico dips from No. 14, its all-time high, to No. 16, Dua Lipa improves two spaces to No. 79. The singer-songwriter's first full-length has now ranked among the 100 most popular albums in the nation in 450 distinct chart weeks.

Dua Lipa Remains the Singer’s Longest-Running Win

Dua Lipa is the pop star's first project to make it to 450 weeks on the main albums roster. In fact, her self-titled, star-making project has stood out as her longest-running win on the Official Albums chart for quite some time.

Only one other release by Lipa, Future Nostalgia, has held on for triple-digit weeks. That Grammy-winning nu-disco favorite has appeared on the Official Albums chart 224 times – almost exactly half as long as Dua Lipa.

Dua Lipa Has Charted Five Albums in the U.K.

Since first reaching the Official Albums chart nearly a decade ago in June 2017, Lipa has seen only five releases rank on the tally. Three of those have cracked the top 10. Dua Lipa topped out at No. 3 – impressively nine months after launching on the list – while both Future Nostalgia and Radical Optimism have led the charge. Her two most recent debuts, Live From the Royal Albert Hall and Live From Mexico, climbed as high as Nos. 40 and 14, respectively.

Dua Lipa Has Been a Streaming Smash for Nearly 500 Weeks

At the moment, Dua Lipa appears on two U.K. albums tallies. In addition to the Official Albums chart, the set can be found on the Official Albums Streaming ranking, where it backtracks from No. 62 to No. 65. Dua Lipa has spent even more time on the list of the most-streamed albums in the U.K. than on the main ranking. The self-titled project, which is packed with hits, is up to 472 stays on that roster.

Live From Mexico Holds On

Meanwhile, Live From Mexico lives on twice as many charts as Dua Lipa. The live collection backtracks on each and every one of them, though it does outperform the singer's first full-length everywhere. Live From Mexico sits on the Official Albums, Official Albums Streaming, Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales charts, dipping to Nos. 16, 17, 95 and 100, respectively.
