Ella Langley's "Be Her" ties "Choosin' Texas" as her longest-running No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with a third week ruling. In less than two years, Ella Langley has gone from a soon-to-break-out talent in the country world to one of the most successful names in the field. The singer-songwriter scored one of the biggest country hits in recent memory with "Choosin' Texas," which dropped in late 2025 and which has spent much of 2026 dominating Billboard's country rankings.
"Choosin' Texas" was so successful that Langley's follow-up promotional cut, "Be Her," taken from her sophomore album Dandelion, has also proved to be a streaming and sales win, as well as a major country radio favorite. As "Be Her" once again appears at No. 1 on one of Billboard's most competitive radio rosters, Langley ties her own recently-set record.
Langley controls the Country Airplay chart again this week as "Be Her" holds at No. 1. The smash has now dominated the 60-space ranking for three consecutive periods. The cut quickly climbed to the top space in early June after launching on the list in late February.
Now that "Be Her" has conquered the Country Airplay chart three times, it is tied as Langley's longest-running No. 1 on the Country Airplay roster. "Choosin' Texas" scored Langley her first multiweek leader earlier this year. That track, which has completely changed the singer-songwriter's career and turned her into an almost household name in America, launched on the Country Airplay rundown in November 2025, and it soared to the highest rung in February of this year.
Langley first reached the Country Airplay chart in July 2024, less than two years ago, alongside Kameron Marlowe. The pair debuted "Strangers" at No. 58, and the collaboration only spent one frame in that space before disappearing entirely.
Less than a month later, "You Look Like You Love Me," another team-up, but with Riley Green, hit the Country Airplay chart for the first time, and that collaboration would prove to be far more successful. "You Look Like You Love Me" needed four months before it earned its one stay on the radio tally's throne.
In just under two years, Langley has collected eight hits on the Country Airplay chart. Only two of those – the aforementioned "Strangers," as well as "Winter Wonderland" with Luke Bryan – missed out on the highest tier. She has ruled with "Choosin' Texas," "Be Her," "You Look Like You Love Me" and "Don't Mind If I Do" – another collaboration with Green. Langley's solo cut "Weren't for the Wind" missed out on leading by just one space last summer, while "I Can't Love You Anymore," which also credits country powerhouse Morgan Wallen, danced to its No. 10 high point earlier this month.
Three of Langley's top 10s on the Country Airplay chart appear within that space this week. As "Be Her" keeps at No. 1, "Choosin' Texas" dips one space to No. 6 and "I Can't Love You Anymore" holds at No. 10. Langley is one of only two acts to appear within the top 10 twice. Wallen's own "Don't We" lifts to its No. 5 peak position.
At the moment, "Be Her" sits on nine Billboard charts, and it drops on most of them. Langley's current focus descends largely due to the arrival of Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You," which tops multiple rosters, including the Digital Song Sales, Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales tallies. "Be Her" manages to hold on the Country Airplay and Streaming Songs charts and the Billboard Hot 100, though it has appeared in loftier positions on the latter two rankings in the past.
