Post Malone's The Diamond Collection compilation becomes his second title to celebrate 156 weeks, or three years, on multiple U.K. albums charts. In the not-quite-decade that he's been a musical superstar, Post Malone has managed to record more hits that have stuck around than many artists will in decades-long careers. Most of his albums have lived on charts in Western nations for years, as each one has produced quite a few smashes that keep them afloat. Malone's fan base regularly consumes projects from his many different forays into styles, including his hip-hop origins and his next chapters, which were centered around pop and rock music and lately, his twangy, radio-ready country sound.

The breadth of Malone's genre-swapping career is largely represented on his greatest hits compilation, The Diamond Collection. That set features many of his diamond-certified singles – those that have moved 10 million equivalent units or more in the United States – and it has become the go-to title for countless listeners to focus on when it comes to streaming sites like Spotify.

The Diamond Collection is usually Malone's most successful album on rankings all around the world, and this week in the United Kingdom, it helps him reach a longevity milestone for only the second time in his career.

The Diamond Collection Remains Post Malone’s Only Hit Album

At the moment, The Diamond Collection is Malone's sole charting album in the U.K. This frame, the compilation improves by one spot to No. 36 on the Official Albums Streaming chart. At the same time, it reverses course and dips two rungs to No. 44, sitting just outside the all-important top 40 region on the Official Albums list. The latter roster ranks releases based on total consumption, while the Official Albums Streaming chart looks only at the total number of plays on the most trafficked streaming music sites.

MORE FOR YOU

The Diamond Collection Reaches 156 Weeks

On both lists, Malone's The Diamond Collection reaches 156 weeks. That's three years as a charting success on two of the most competitive rundowns for albums in the U.K.

Post Malone’s The Diamond Collection Trails Stoney

On the Official Albums chart, The Diamond Collection is only the second release by Malone to make it to 156 weeks. Stoney, his introductory project, which landed on the list in December 2016, is only a little bit ahead of the compilation. Stoney, which topped out at No. 10, has lived on the Official Albums chart for a total of 169 weeks.

Two other collections by the multi-genre superstar, Hollywood’s Bleeding and Beerbongs & Bentleys, aren’t far behind. They have spent 131 and 145 weeks, respectively, on the Official Albums register.

Streaming Success Fuels The Diamond Collection

Streaming sites is where Malone has succeeded most brilliantly throughout his career, and The Diamond Collection marks his fourth title to rack up 156 turns – if not more – on the Official Albums Streaming chart. Stoney remains his longest-running success, with 220 spins somewhere on the U.K. ranking. Beerbongs & Bentleys and Hollywood’s Bleeding are nearly matched. The first has collected 176 weeks on the tally, and Hollywood’s Bleeding has earned just one more.

The Diamond Collection Peaked Lower Than Past Albums

Despite its continued popularity and the fact that The Diamond Collection has now been a charting win for three years, the compilation brought Malone to a new low point on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts. On the streaming-only roster, The Diamond Collection topped out at No. 9. On the Official Albums roster, it is the only title by the rapper to fail to break into the highest tier, as it only ever lifted as high as No. 14.
