Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter's Confessions II single "Bring Your Love" debuts at No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart, while "I Feel So Free" climbs. Madonna teased her upcoming album, Confessions II for months, at first only hinting that she was planning on following up her Grammy-winning release Confessions on a Dance Floor, and then confirming that the forthcoming project is, in fact, a sequel. The pop icon and dance floor filler introduced the full-length, which is scheduled to arrive on July 3, with the track "I Feel So Free," though that now appears to be something of a promotional tune.

The more high-profile cut from Confessions II is the newly-shared "Bring Your Love," which will likely be deemed the official first single, and which may become its breakout smash. The tune is a collaboration between Madonna and current hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter, and just hours after its release late on Thursday (April 30), "Bring Your Love" is already the bestselling song in America at the beginning of another tracking week.

Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter’s "Bring Your Love" Tops iTunes

Currently, "Bring Your Love" sits at No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart. Purchases of individual tracks are not as important as they once were when it comes to many Billboard charts – streaming has largely taken over when it comes to how many fans consume the music they love – but sales do factor into several rosters, such as Billboard Hot 100 and, of course, the Digital Song Sales chart. iTunes is typically the most highly-trafficked of digital stores, and whichever new release leads the iTunes Top Songs ranking on Friday morning stands a good shot at becoming a true hit in a little more than a week after its first seven-day tracking frame has finished.

Madonna’s "Bring Your Love" Appears in Multiple Versions

As is a common practice these days, multiple versions of "Bring Your Love" were released at the same time. One of them dominates the iTunes Top Songs chart, while the second sits just beneath the top 40, entering at No. 42.

Madonna’s "I Feel So Free" Rises as Well

"I Feel So Free" jumps several dozen spaces thanks to all of the excitement around the brand new "Bring Your Love." This frame, the Confessions II song – which currently appears on multiple Billboard charts for the first time this period, even leading the Dance Digital Song Sales chart – advances to No. 38, landing only a few spaces ahead of the second edition of "Bring Your Love." Those two tracks (three placements in total) mark Madonna's only wins on the iTunes roster at the moment.

Confessions on a Dance Floor Returns to the iTunes Albums List

Madonna sees two full-lengths appear on the iTunes Top Albums chart, and while one project falls dramatically, another returns. The Immaculate Collection, a greatest hits compilation Madonna dropped in 1990, falls to No. 114 as of the time of writing. Meanwhile, the original Confessions on a Dance Floor bounces back onto the list at No. 190, and it may continue to climb as more Americans hear "Bring Your Love" for the first time.

Carpenter's only bestseller on the iTunes Top Albums tally at the moment is Man’s Best Friend, her most recent release. That set returns to the highest half of the 200-space rundown, pushing to No. 99.

Madonna’s "I Feel So Free" Debuts on Several Billboard Charts

Madonna's fan base has shown its willingness to purchase any song she releases, and while she may not be the radio favorite she once was, purchases help her regularly score new hits. "I Feel So Free" debuts on two rankings in America inside the top 10. The cut leads the Dance Digital Song Sales chart and opens at No. 6 on the non-style-focused Digital Song Sales tally. The same track nearly enters that highest space on both the Hot Dance/Pop Songs and Dance/Mix Show Airplay lists, where it begins its time at No. 12 and No. 14, respectively.
