2026 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival - Weekend 1 - Day 2

Before Coachella, only two projects by Justin Bieber had reached Billboard's Top Streaming Albums chart. This week, three additional titles debut. Less than three years ago, Billboard introduced one of its newest rankings, the Top Streaming Albums chart. The list, which runs 50 spaces long, details the most-played collections of any genre or any length on streaming sites such as Spotify, Apple Music, and several others. Many major music stars have never landed on the roster, and even some of the biggest names in the industry are playing catch-up, with older titles finally becoming streaming smashes thanks to re-releases, special promotions, and pop culture moments that turn the public’s attention to one name or another.

Before this week, Justin Bieber had only scored a pair of appearances on the Top Streaming Albums chart. That figure more than doubles this week, following his headlining set at weekend one of Coachella.

Purpose, Believe, and My World 2.0 Debut Together

Three projects by Bieber appear on the Top Streaming Albums chart for the first time this week. Amazingly, they sit side-by-side-by-side, landing one right after another. That seems to suggest that consumption of his trio of efforts was very similar on streaming outlets.

Purpose is the highest-ranking of his debuts, as it enters at No. 30. Believe and My World 2.0 kick off their time on the tally at Nos. 31 and 32, respectively.

Justin Bieber’s Purpose Marks a New Career Low

Purpose, Believe, and My World 2.0 rank as Bieber’s lowest-peaking sets on the Top Streaming Albums chart. As they arrive, they beat the No. 28 high that Under the Mistletoe reached earlier this year. That holiday set arrived on the list in January 2024 during the last tracking period that reflected consumption of Christmas music before the new year began. The Canadian musician launched Swag at No. 1 last summer, scoring his first top 10 and initial champion.

Swag Surges on the Streaming Albums Chart

Bieber currently fills four spots on the Top Streaming Albums chart, including his three debuts. Swag bolts from last place, No. 50, all the way to No. 5, and Under the Mistletoe is sandwiched in between his most recent project and his trio of new arrivals.

Justin Bieber Leads Top Streaming Albums Chart Hits

Bieber is the most prolific artist on this week’s Top Streaming Albums chart, and he’s the only name to claim four rungs. He outpaces Morgan Wallen, who fills a trio of spaces. The country megastar’s I’m the Problem slips from No. 1 to No. 2, One Thing at a Time ascends to No. 7, and Dangerous: The Double Album holds at No. 15.

Several other chart-toppers, including Ella Langley, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Drake, and Ye – formerly known as Kanye West, who appears under both monikers – settle into a pair of slots apiece.

Swag Powers Justin Bieber’s Billboard 200 Return

All four of Bieber’s wins on the Top Streaming Albums chart also appear on the Billboard 200, the chart company’s list of the most-consumed albums and EPs in the U.S. Both sales and streaming activity factor into where a title appears on that roster.

Swag rockets from No. 55 to No. 7, while Purpose, Believe, and My World 2.0 reenter at Nos. 32, 34, and 38, respectively. Another three sets also land on the Billboard 200, but do not rank among the 50 most popular on streaming sites. Justice and My World break back onto the Billboard 200, while Journals debuts more than a decade after its release.

Of course, the big winner remains Swag, Bieber’s surprise-released 2025 comeback full-length. In addition to the Billboard 200 and the Top Streaming Albums chart, that Grammy-nominated studio effort returns to No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums chart, and it nearly matches that showing on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums tally, where Bieber jumps from No. 15 to No. 2.
