[xikers] ROUTE ZERO The ORA_'TRICKY' CONCEPT POSTER (GROUP 02)

xikers for 'ROUTE ZERO: The ORA'

KQ Entertainment

Just over two years into their run, xikers have embarked on a new musical era, which has led to another sales record.

The 10-member KQ Entertainment crew earned the biggest sales week of their career with their seventh EP, ROUTE ZERO : The ORA, which moved 364,152 physical albums worldwide in its first week, according to South Korea’s real-time sales chart Hanteo. The feat surpasses their previous best of the almost 328,000 set by HOUSE OF TRICKY : WRECKING THE HOUSE late last year.

Consisting of members Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujun, Hunter and Yechan, xikers has been on a sales hot streak since last year with both WRECKING HOUSE and the newly released ROUTE ZERO: The ORA album breaking three-hundred thousand copies when the group’s previous releases hovered between the 100,000 and 225,000 sales mark.

Take a look at how xiker’s latest album stacks up to their past first-week sales figures, as reported by the Hanteo Chart:

  1. ROUTE ZERO : The ORA (2026) — 364,152 albums
  2. HOUSE OF TRICKY : WRECKING THE HOUSE (2025) — 327,734
  3. HOUSE OF TRICKY : Trial And Error (2024) — 224,437
  4. HOUSE OF TRICKY : HOW TO PLAY (2023) — 205,895
  5. HOUSE OF TRICKY : WATCH OUT (2024) — 184,340
  6. HOUSE OF TRICKY : SPUR (2025) — 174,104
  7. HOUSE OF TRICKY : Doorbell Ringing (2023) — 103,318

The sales accomplishment ignited with big numbers on opening day. The ORA moved 182,432 copies on its first day of release — another career best first-day sales for xikers that more than doubled the 86,953 first-day figure xikers previously set with WRECKING THE HOUSE.

Peep how xikers’ first-day sales also tell an upward story, according to the Hanteo Chart:

  1. ROUTE ZERO : The ORA (2026) — 182,432 albums
  2. HOUSE OF TRICKY : WRECKING THE HOUSE (2025) — 86,953
  3. HOUSE OF TRICKY : Trial And Error (2024) — 84,940
  4. HOUSE OF TRICKY : SPUR (2025) — 74,765
  5. HOUSE OF TRICKY : WATCH OUT (2024) — 60,685

xikers Start a New Era With ‘ROUTE ZERO’ Comeback

This latest album release marks a deliberate sonic and narrative turning point for xikers. The group’s long-running “HOUSE OF TRICKY” series, which built their reputation across six mini-album releases and multiple Billboard chart entries, has come to a close with xikers introducing an entirely new world. “ROUTE ZERO” is described as beginning “at the point where all coordinates have been erased” where xikers “move beyond boyhood and confront a controlled world where everything follows a predetermined order.”

The music takes its cue from its mysterious new landscape, with four of the five tracks embracing darker hip-hop and trap beats, chant-like melodies, and monstrous EDM drops, best heard in lead single “OKay” and album opener “Ghost Rider.” But the album closes on a joyous note with the racing rock-pop jam “Outsider” that hints that the group’s fearless, forward-thinking spirit is still intact.

Day after the EP’s release, “OKay” also received an official, frenetic remix from producer BRLLNT (who’s known for his work with Christina Aguilera and BIGBANG’s Taeyang, as well as his remixes for Baekhyun, aespa, Chromeo and more) adding another dimension to the project’s reach.

Looking ahead, xikers’ ROUTE ZERO: The ORA just had its physical release in the U.S. on Friday, May 22, which could lead to even larger global sales and potentially xikers’ third entry on the main Billboard 200 chart following HOUSE OF TRICKY : DOORBELL RINGING (which peaked at No. 75 in 2023) and HOUSE OF TRICKY : TRIAL AND ERROR (No. 73 in 2024). The guys are also gearing up for special fan meetings in Seoul in late June, followed by one in Tokyo in late July.
