While April was dominated by highly anticipated returns like Euphoria, The Boys and Hacks, May is ushering in several exciting new series, including a Lord of the Flies adaptation and the highly anticipated Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch, along with a few returning favorites.

Over on Netflix, the month is led by the debut of Lord of the Flies, the classic dystopian novel’s first television adaptation, alongside The Boroughs, a new sci-fi series from the Duffer Brothers, aka the creators of Stranger Things. The streaming platform is also bringing back Emma Myers’ A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder for Season 2 and the star-studded comedy The Four Seasons.

Another spinoff in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe will arrive on Paramount+ in May, following the March premieres of Marshals and The Madison. This time, the focus shifts to Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), the fan-favorite couple from the main series, as they build a new life together in South Texas following the events of Yellowstone Season 5.

But their new reality is a brutal one, as they collide with harsh conditions, deep roots, and a rival ranch owner (Annette Bening) who refuses to back down,” Paramount+ teased.
