2026 Stagecoach Festival - Day 1

"I Can't Love You Anymore" becomes Ella Langley's second-highest-rising sales hit in the U.K. as it debuts, but it doesn't manage the same feat for Morgan Wallen. 2026 has been one long winning streak for Ella Langley. The country singer-songwriter made a lot of noise several years back with her debut album Hungover, which produced multiple hit songs, although she did not become a global star with the project. It wasn’t until earlier in 2026, when she delivered “Choosin’ Texas,” the lead single from her then-forthcoming sophomore set Dandelion, that her star began to rise dramatically.

For months, “Choosin’ Texas” has remained one of the biggest songs around the planet, and certainly the hottest track in America more often than not. When it comes to the United Kingdom, where country music is not nearly as popular as in America, “Choosin’ Texas” changed everything for Langley, and its success has helped her rack up several additional wins from Dandelion.

Langley recently teamed up with fellow country powerhouse Morgan Wallen, and the two released their duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore” in mid-April. That track launches on multiple rosters in the U.K., and it immediately becomes one of Langley’s highest-rising sales smashes.

Ella Langley’s “I Can’t Love You Anymore” Debuts

“I Can’t Love You Anymore” launches within the top 40 on two of the three charts it debuts on this frame. The collaboration kicks off its time at No. 28 on the Official Singles Downloads roster, while simultaneously entering the Official Singles Sales chart at No. 35.

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” Continues to Lead the Way

For Langley, “I Can’t Love You Anymore” immediately becomes her second-highest-rising hit yet. Only “Choosin’ Texas,” which has broken into the top five on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts, has lifted to an even more impressive space.

Morgan Wallen’s “Love Somebody” Outpaced His New Duet

The new track does not hold the same position within Wallen’s discography on the Official Singles Downloads chart. It becomes the Grammy nominee’s third-highest-peaking song behind “I Had Some Help” with Post Malone (No. 3) and his own “Love Somebody” (No. 12).

“I’m The Problem," “Last Night” and “Lies Lies Lies”

When it comes to the Official Singles Sales chart, Wallen has seen five songs rock their way to higher spots. As is the case on the downloads-only tally, both “I Had Some Help” with Malone and “Love Somebody” remain the singer’s highest-rising hits, as they peaked at Nos. 4 and 13, respectively. Three other tunes, “Lies Lies Lies” (No. 28), “Last Night” (No. 31), and “I’m The Problem” (No. 34) – the title track from his latest blockbuster album – have all surged higher than where “I Can’t Love You Anymore” debuts.

“I Can’t Love You Anymore” Starts Slow at Streaming

Purchases largely powered “I Can’t Love You Anymore” in its first tracking frame, but the song’s performance on the Official Singles chart, which also takes into account streaming activity, shows that it probably wasn’t a streaming smash as well. The fact that it did not manage to make it to the Official Streaming tally further underscores that probability.

“I Can’t Love You Anymore” opens at No. 68 on that list, where it ranks as one of the lower-peaking cuts when it comes to both Langley and Wallen’s discographies.

“Choosin’ Texas” Establishes a New Chart Peak

As “I Can’t Love You Anymore” debuts, Langley collects her fifth career placement on the Official Singles chart, the most competitive songs ranking in the U.K. She’s now up to half a dozen appearances on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads tallies.

Wallen, meanwhile, recently passed double-digit appearances on the Official Singles chart, and “I Can’t Love You Anymore” marks his eleventh trip to that rundown. He has earned a total of nine bestsellers on both the sales and downloads rankings.

The focus for Langley remains “Choosin’ Texas,” which outpaces her new hit on every roster. “Choosin’ Texas” returns to its all-time high of No. 3 on the Official Singles Downloads ranking, while shooting from No. 31 to No. 4 – a new best-ever peak – on the Official Singles Sales register.
