As May is about to end, now is a great time to make a few more trades in dynasty fantasy football. We’ll be focusing in on only the 2026 rookie quarterbacks, in order to help you find a few underrated trade targets.

Forbes2026 Rookies To Trade For In Dynasty Fantasy Football

That being said, even though the value of these 2026 rookies has had some time to settle, these players are still going to be very volatile. Without a large sample size, how the dynasty community reacts to these rookies changes by the game.

That can be a good or bad thing, but I’ve found it creates a good window to trade for 2026 rookies.

Since all of these players are ranked very low, I’ll be talking about this from the perspective of a superflex league, as that’s where quarterback depth really matters. Only one of these players (Taylen Green) makes sense to trade for in a 1QB format.

For rankings referenced in this dynasty article, we’ll be using Keep Trade Cut.

1. Carson Beck (KTC Rank: QB49)

This holds true across all positions, but the goal of trading for players right now is to gain value. From there, it’s up to you if you want to keep those potential points or trade that player at a profit.

One of the easiest ways to find a player who will increase in value is by adding a quarterback who’s not starting right now, but should be.

With Jacoby Brissett and the Arizona Cardinals in a disagreement over his contract, that would pretty much guarantee Beck the starting job earlier than expected.

However, even if Brissett does start the year, given the draft capital of Beck, I’m expecting him to get a shot at some point. Beck was drafted at pick 65 (round three), which isn’t great, but it’s also much higher than most of the quarterbacks.

Keep in mind, this is closer to the floor of Beck, which is the more realistic outcome. It seems reasonable to expect a slight increase in value, but there’s also a chance Beck plays extremely well and sees his value jump up.

Beck may never be a star, but if he can be a solid QB2 on your roster to either help you score points or trade to another team, that’s a win.

2. Taylen Green (KTC Rank: QB66)

As mentioned above, Green is the only player that I’d be looking to trade for in a 1QB format. The appeal for Green is not his draft capital, as he went at pick 182 (round six) of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Instead, it’s the rushing upside. In Green’s last year at Arkansas, he had 777 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the year.

While Green doesn’t have great draft capital that would increase his chances of getting on the field, the Cleveland Browns don’t have a franchise quarterback yet.

Even if Green is not a great NFL quarterback, if he gets on the field, his rushing ability alone should make him a strong quarterback in fantasy football for a number of weeks, causing his value to rise.

3. Cade Klubnik (KTC Rank: QB44)

The story for Cade Klubnik is very similar to Beck. Klubnik is entering a situation where the Jets have yet to find their quarterback of the future.

Even though Cade Klubnik was drafted at pick 110 (round four), it’s worth noting that the Jets decided to trade up for Klubnik. With that being the case, it makes me think he’s going to get a shot to start at some point in year one.

Again, all of these names are very affordable, so your expectations should be lower as well. That being said, given that there’s not a ton of risk, I’m expecting all three of these quarterbacks to increase in dynasty fantasy football value from where they are ranked right now.
