Ella Langley’s “Dandelion” Returns to the Top 10

Langley’s “Dandelion” finds its way back to the Country Digital Song Sales chart this week, and it becomes a top 10 bestseller all over again. The tune, one of multiple singles pushed from Langley’s sophomore album Dandelion – which currently leads the Billboard 200 for its second week, though it’s about to be replaced by Noah Kahan’s first champion, The Great Divide – rebounds at No. 10 after climbing as high as third place.

Ella Langley Blocks Dolly Parton from a New Top 10

As “Dandelion” breaks back onto the Country Digital Song Sales chart, Langley blocks Dolly Parton from collecting a new top 10 smash. That singer’s “Son of Jolene,” a collaboration with country newcomer Belles, is forced to launch at No. 11. Coincidentally, that’s exactly where the original “Jolene,” as well as fellow cut “When Life Is Good Again,” peaked, as all three missed out on becoming top 10 successes by just one slot.

Belles reaches the Country Digital Song Sales ranking for what appears to be the first time, while Parton collects her twenty-first appearance and narrowly fails to snag a ninth top 10 win.

Ella Langley Dominates With “Choosin’ Texas” Again

Langley sits at No. 1 yet again with “Choosin’ Texas,” which recently passed half a year on the Country Digital Song Sales chart, and which may hold in first place for several more weeks, if not months. Langley, once again, blocks herself from another ruler as “Be Her,” one of the other promotional cuts pushed from Dandelion, surges to No. 2.

Langley occupies the entirety of the top three at the same time, an impressive showing, especially considering that last frame was even bigger thanks to the arrival of Dandelion and its many popular songs. “You Look Like You Love Me,” one of multiple collaborations between Langley and country artist Riley Green, pushes from No. 6 to No. 3, nearing its all-time high of No. 2.

A fourth Langley track, “Bottom of Your Boots,” slips from No. 2, where it sat last time around, to No. 6 in only its second turn on the roster. Langley replaces one runner-up with another, as neither of her compositions were powerful enough to oust “Choosin’ Texas.” Langley even manages one more hit on the Country Digital Song Sales chart. “Loving Life Again,” which last week sat at No. 10, declines to No. 13.

Ella Langley Outpaces Luke Combs and Riley Green

Only two other artists claim multiple bestsellers on the current edition of the Country Digital Song Sales chart. Luke Combs drops to No. 8 with “Be by You” and to No. 12 with former ruler “Days Like These.”

Green improves to third place alongside Langley with “You Look Like You Love Me.” At the same time, his new cut “My Way” debuts at No. 9, settling in between Combs’ “Be by You” and Langley’s “Dandelion.” Langley claims three times as many bestsellers as either of those artists separately, and she even outpaces the two of them combined.
