The Standard Edition launches worldwide on July 9, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and, for the first time in the series' modern run, PC. That PC debut comes through the EA app, Steam and the Epic Games Store, finally bringing Dynasty, Road to Glory and College Ultimate Team to a platform shut out of recent entries. Early access can move some players up by as much as a full week.
If you're in on the early access train, you'll get to kick off earlier than everyone else.

As usual, there are a few different versions to choose from, but if you're getting Madden 27 too, only one makes sense.

There is also the MVP+ Membership, which layers the 7-day July 2 access, monthly Ultimate Team packs, all playable mascots and beta access on top of the bundle.
If you're on the fence, the Standard Edition is best. If you're already all-in on EA football, the MVP+ membership that also gets you Madden 27 is the way to go.
For most fans, the Standard Edition delivers the full game without paying for early time you may not use. Players who want a head start and extra Ultimate Team fuel can justify the Deluxe, while the MVP Bundle is the obvious move for anyone buying Madden too. MVP+ is the all-in membership for diehards who want the earliest access and year-round perks, and the full preorder rundown covers the rest.
