Wiz is thrilled to announce that we have been recognized as Microsoft's Commercial Marketplace 2024 Partner of the Year. This accolade highlights the exceptional work of our global team and our amazing customers who rely on the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace for expert guidance and business solutions. The Microsoft Commercial Marketplace plays a critical role in the customer experience by optimizing cost savings, simplifying procurement processes, and speeding up innovation.

Our journey with Microsoft

Wiz’s collaboration with Microsoft Azure is built on a solid foundation that has grown even stronger over the years.

For customers who leverage Azure, Wiz offers agentless, full-stack coverage for Azure workloads, including VMs, serverless functions, containerized applications, and PaaS, allowing customers to gain unmatched visibility across their entire cloud environment. Wiz provides comprehensive analysis beyond simple configuration checks, detects toxic combinations of issues, and drives resolution. Wiz offers multiple integrations across Azure services, including Microsoft Sentinel, Azure OpenAI services, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. Wiz's cloud security platform fosters a proactive security culture across Security and Developer teams.

Since becoming a Microsoft partner in 2020, Wiz achieved Top Tier status in the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace in 2022 and became IP Co-Sell ready, offering seamless cloud security to strategic Azure customers. As an enabled ISV on the Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) program, Wiz sells to strategic Microsoft customers via the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace.

Collaborating with Microsoft's Azure team, Wiz secures cloud environments for some of Azure's key customers, exemplified by the joint success story of Otis Elevator Company, Mars and many more.

Why cloud marketplaces are important

Cloud marketplaces play an essential role in modern business by providing streamlined access to diverse software solutions and simplifying procurement processes.

According to Tackle.io’s 2023 State of Cloud GTM Report, the cloud marketplace landscape is expected to grow significantly, with software sales through these platforms projected to reach $15 billion in 2023 and $100 billion by 2026. This growth underscores the importance as a path to revenue transformation and a strategic, long-term commitment for companies.

These platforms foster collaboration between vendors and customers, driving digital transformation and enhancing productivity. Furthermore, the integration capabilities they offer ensure secure and optimized cloud environments, which are crucial for maintaining a competitive edge in today's fast-paced market.

"Wiz and Microsoft Azure share a dedication to enhancing customer success and maximizing the value derived from our solutions. The Microsoft Commercial Marketplace enables Wiz to achieve this, and our collaboration through the Marketplace ensures we continue to secure everything our customers develop and operate in the cloud."

Tom Henderson, VP Channels & Alliances at Wiz
