We’re excited to announce that Wiz has been awarded the “Deployed on AWS” badge—signaling that the Wiz Cloud Security Platform is hosted on AWS, helping customers like you maximize the value of AWS Marketplace procurement.
Starting May 1, 2025, SaaS products must be entirely hosted on AWS, distinguished by the "Deployed on AWS" badge, to qualify for spend commitments from Private Pricing Agreement (PPA) discounts when purchased on AWS Marketplace. Wiz qualifies under these new guidelines, meaning customers can continue retiring AWS PPA commitments when purchasing Wiz through the AWS Marketplace, and receive additional customer benefits as outlined in the PPA. Wiz customers retain full benefits under the new AWS policy when purchased on AWS Marketplace.
Under AWS's new policy, only "Deployed on AWS" solutions are eligible to draw down on their Private Pricing Agreement spend commitments and receive additional customer benefits pursuant to their bespoke PPA. Wiz proudly qualifies—ensuring that your investment in Wiz continues to reduce long-term AWS spend once procured on the AWS Marketplace.
The AWS Marketplace is a strategic procurement vehicle for all types of organizations. Customers choose to purchase Wiz on AWS Marketplace for:
PPA Commitment drawdown
Streamlined procurement
Consolidated billing with AWS net terms and other ISV purchases
Improved compliance and 3rd party integrations
Continued collaboration with strategic consulting partners
Explore Wiz on AWS Marketplace
Wiz has been hyperscaling on AWS since Day One. From leveraging Amazon Neptune to power our Security Graph, to launching as an AWS Marketplace offering in 2021, our deep integration with AWS technologies fuels both performance and innovation.
Recognizing the rapid innovation enabled by AWS — where organizations scale and implement diverse architectures — Wiz is built to match that pace delivering agentless, real-time visibility and risk remediation across dynamic cloud environments. As customers shift left with Wiz Code and streamline SecOps workflows with Wiz Defend, partnered innovation with AWS is at the heart of supporting our customers.
Wiz leverages AWS infrastructure and services to maximize scalability, efficiency, and usability. For example:
Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) runs our cloud scanners and analysis engines
AWS APIs provide read-only metadata collection for over 300 AWS services
DynamoDB supports data enrichment and analysis
Amazon Bedrock drives Wiz’s AI enabled remediation steps
Being built on AWS allows for immediate, low-impact scanning—identifying not only misconfigurations, malware, identity risks, GenAI risks, and sensitive data exposure, but also detailed visibility into your entire cloud inventory.
At the core of Wiz’s risk analysis is our Security Graph, powered by Amazon Neptune. It correlates diverse signals—vulnerabilities, identity permissions, data exposure—and identifies toxic combinations of risk provided by the Wiz scanners and analysis engines. Wiz visualizes these correlations and findings directly within the Security Graph, enabling practitioners to effortlessly review, remediate, and gain a comprehensive understanding of their environment.
Teams can organize resources into projects, enabling developers to own and fix risks via RBAC-driven access.
Wiz enhances your AWS-native visibility by integrating with many AWS services such as:
Amazon GuardDuty
Amazon Q
AWS Security Hub
AWS CloudTrail
Amazon Inspector
Amazon Macie
AWS IAM Access Analyzer
Amazon Cognito
Amazon Security Lake
These integrations, among others, help you centralize risk findings and enrich your AWS-native telemetry with deeper context on the Wiz security graph. For a full list of integrations, visit the Wiz Integrations page.
Wiz’s “Deployed on AWS” status reflects more than a badge—it’s proof of our alignment with AWS’s best practices and commitment to customer success.
As AWS continues to expand its ecosystem, Wiz is right there with it—giving you the insights, coverage, and confidence to innovate securely.
