A few weeks ago, we underscored our commitment to Europe by opening the Wiz EMEA Headquarters in London. This expansion brings our engineering and research teams closer to major organizations in the region, such as Asos, Revolut, Shell, BMW, and LVMH. Today, we are expanding our commitment by enabling Wiz support for AWS European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). This new deployment gives customers the flexibility to choose how and where they want to deploy their cloud environments while maintaining necessary data sovereignty.  

The AWS European Sovereign Cloud is a dedicated AWS infrastructure designed to meet the stringent data residency, operational autonomy, and regulatory compliance needs of European public sector organizations and industries in highly regulated sectors. It provides all the capabilities of AWS’s global regions but ensures that data and operations remain within European borders and are managed by local EU personnel.  

At Wiz, we’re excited about the development of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, as it provides a critical option for public sector organizations and highly regulated industries to meet their unique digital sovereignty requirements. This new cloud environment enables our customers to maintain strict data residency, operational autonomy, and resilience, addressing compliance needs while leveraging the power of AWS.  Customers have the flexibility to choose how and where they want to deploy their cloud environments while maintaining necessary data sovereignty.  

Deploying Wiz on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud marks a key step in our commitment to enable secure and compliant cloud adoption for regional customers. This deployment enables our customers to meet essential data residency and compliance standards, leveraging AWS infrastructure to strengthen security while ensuring data stays within European borders – furthering bolstering our commitment to customers in the region.
